I am not that pale, and this product makes my skin orange. It is a real disappointment… The cream has a green color so I thought, okay maybe it really gives just a natural glow, with no heavy coloration. But no, it is just orange. Now I have 30 ml of this and I do not know how to use it, what a waste of money. It leaves the skin smooth though, maybe I can use it to hydrate my skin at home when nobody can see me.

Well i just had to have this! What a let down! EL had been promoting this recenrly, so I thought id purchase when gwp came around. My main problem with this.are the weird grainy bits that come out. I wonder if i got an off product. The colour is awful for pale skins so.i use this under a lighter foundation for a glow. By far my biggest dissapountment jn a very long time

can somebody tell me does it clog my pores? Or it works just like an moisturizer and does all the best for my skin???

I had high hopes for this. I’m a pale gal, Double Wear in Ecru. In Mac, I’m NW20. Once applied and rubbed so that color starts to appear, it turns orange on my skin. Plain and Simple review here. Hahahah Oompa Lumpa.

I really dislike this. It’s orange on my skin and makes me look like a greaseball. Just… terrible.
It’s looks great on my Mom though. It’s gives her a nice glow.

Okay I got this as a sample so don’t know the price but in general Estee Lauder isn’t cheap. ORANGE ALERT. I have light olive skin with warm undertones and this made me look like I had smeared my whole face with liquid bronzer. It’s also highly perfumed. I can’t comment on it’s moisturising properties or what it would be like as a sunscreen because I immediately washed it off and threw the rest of the sample in the bin.

A great product, but terrible on NC/NW20 or lighter skin.
The application, scent, finish and wearability is great (its ultra natural, slightly fool-proof, matte but dewy if that’s possible, and just looks like great skin but better). But it just looks decidedly orange on me – I’m a neutral NC/NW20-level with some redness.
Have given it 3/5; 1 point off for lack of colour options, and another because although its good, its not HG quality to me.

I saw this on Pixiwoo a few months ago and wanted to give it a try, so when it showed up at my CCO I picked up a bottle. I’ve recently switched to TM and tried this as I had been – Moisturizing then using this on top and found that it did give me a little to much shine. So using it skipping my morning moisturizer work better and I only had to lightly powder my face to reduce the shine.
I’m a neutral skintone and for me if I wear cooler toned clothes (whites, blacks and dark grays) I’ll pull Cool. On those days this would slightly turn orange, so I would not suggest it for anyone that is Cool toned. With that all being said, for a quick moisturizer and some color to even out your skin tone I really started to like this product.
However there is something in EL face product that irritated my sinuses. I had a bad experience with Futurist foundation and several months later trying this product all of my same issues came up again. So I was only able to wear it for a few days before I had to find it a new home. Pretty sad since it was still expensive for a CCO purchase $30.50.

I bought this about a month ago, right after Estee Lauder reformulated and tweaked the packaging, but I think it’s still relatively the same as before. The product is no longer in the oval, hard plastic bottle. Now it’s in a soft plastic, squeeze tube-like package, but I like the new packaging better as I can probably squeeze out every last bit of product. Packaging aside, I really, really love this product. I’ve been using this in the cooler weather as I can get away with SPF 15 in the winter and the sheer tint is something extra. I’m a NC20ish and the tint gives me the perfect amount of color to even out my skintone. I think if you have a lighter skintone than a NC20, the tint will be fairly noticeable. I have to say that this does not offer any kind of coverage. If you want to cover sunspots, broken capillaries, etc. This will not do it. I also find this tint to be rather long lasting. Even though Estee Lauder markets this as skincare, I still treat it (tinted version) as makeup. The first time I wore this I used a makeup wipe at the end of the day, out of habit, and was surprised to find the wipe covered in light brown residue. It had lasted an entire 10 hour day. The only thing about this moisturizer is it’s pretty expensive as they have upped the price to $43 for 1.7oz. Depending on what each person is looking for, some might find it worth it, others not. I just wish they would have the sheer tint version with SPF 30 so I can use it in hotter weather.

I first heard about this on pixiwoo on YT. I had first tried the Origins VitaZing – which is supposed to be similar. I thought the VitaZing looked crazy dark on my NC20 skin. This was hard to find – they didn’t have it at my EL counter at Macy’s – and were trying to tell me that there was no such thing…and I mean even their regional manager was there that day, telling me there was no such thing (NOT cool, EL…).
I ended up getting this through a swap, so I did not spend the $37.50 this costs, but that is a lot for a moisturizer! I like the glow and healthy look this gives my skin. I use this, and then all I have to use is a concealer for blemishes, and then a light bronzer, some blush, and eye makeup. It feels nice to let my skin breathe, instead of using a heavy foundation, like I usually do. I would like to re-purchase this!
EDIT: OK….after trying to figure out what was breaking me out – figured out it was this. I’m so sad! This looks so amazingly gorgeous on my skin until it breaks me out!
