RMK products are hit or miss for me, but when they are hit, boy, do I love them. This lipstick is an awesome fall color: a dusty rose mixed with brown which on my fair skin reads as a light burgundy. The formula is a matte, but not a flat, it has some sparkle in it, reminiscent of a gloss or a tinted lip oil. The packaging is that interesting rounded rectangular, flat cartridge which they had come out with a few years ago in their fall/winter collection. The doe foot applicator is not the best imo, but I always use a lip brush to apply any liquid lipstick. I love this color and I certainly have nothing else like it in my collection. The only bad thing about RMK lippies and eyeshadows is that they really don`t last too long: it`s a one season at most product, and if you don`t use it up in one year you had better say your farewells, because they start smelling funky and apply very strangely a year later. The rectangular packaging, also while really unique and interesting, sometimes makes it hard for the applicator to scoop out the last bits of product. So overall, while I love the concepts that RMK comes up with, sometimes their shelf life is too short or their concept is aimed at a much younger customer. (like the pastel shadows in their holiday collection, which I would never touch in a million years).
