i got this as a replacement for an additional eye liner that i had yet to finish and really did not open it until i was lengthy past the return date, yet i really want i hadn’t waited as i don’t like this pen in all. for beginners i purchased it through the ulta site and the picture for the liner is exceptionally misleading, it resembles a conventional slim lining pen whereas in truth it’s in fact quite big and also a various experience to use consequently.
the felt idea was fine, i mean they usually obtain a little funky after some usage yet i simply selected off the wiggliest bits and also wiped it off regularly with micellar water to eliminate eye shadow build-up. i just really didn’t like the formula of the ink itself. it’s extremely large for a black and also the item doesn’t construct well on top of itself; if you attempt to include even more color you just end up cleaning what you have actually already made use of away.
i’m glad i really did not invest a lot on it however i don’t such as to consider my acquisitions like that – every little thing i acquire must be an excellent product, and also i make certain companies like elf (as high as i love them and a lot of their various other products!) rely on us clients feeling this way so we’ll quicker warrant dropping a couple of bucks here and there on their crap products. it’s $4 as well as some adjustment that i basically simply discarded on absolutely nothing, and that’s frustrating. so i really hope if you’re taking into consideration an acquisition my testimonial below will assist you to conserve that $4 as well as placed it in the direction of something much better!

Maybe it’s the particular pen I bought, yet this simply isn’t that good. Pretty dry and also streaky:/ as well as if you try to touch it up throughout the day, it removes the first layer and looks patchy.

Ideal drugstore eyeliner pen I’ve ever before utilized. Takes place so well and also stays on. My go to.

i bought this as a replacement for another eyeliner that i had yet to finish and didn’t open it until i was long past the return date, but i really wish i hadn’t waited as i dont like this pen at all. for starters i ordered it through the ulta website and the photo for the liner is incredibly misleading, it looks like a traditional thin liner pen whereas in reality it’s actually quite large and a different experience to use as a result.
the felt tip was fine, i mean they usually get a little funky after some usage but i just picked off the wiggliest bits and wiped it off periodically with micellar water to remove eyeshadow buildup. i just really didn’t like the formula of the ink itself. it’s very sheer for a black and the product doesn’t build well on top of itself; if you try to add more color you just end up wiping what you’ve already drawn on away.
i’m glad i didn’t spend much on it but i don’t like to think of my purchases like that – everything i buy should be a good product, and i’m sure companies like elf (as much as i love them and many of their other products!) bank on us customers feeling that way so we’ll more readily justify dropping a few bucks here and there on their crap products. it’s $4 and some change that i basically just threw away on nothing, and that’s disappointing. so i hope if you’re considering a purchase my review here will help you to save that $4 and put it towards something better!

So I bought the intense ink eyeliner at target and I was so excited to use it… when I opened it was all white and had absolutely no ink inside when I opened it. I can’t fnd the receipt so I can’t return it so I won’t be buying your products again. I am disappointed sorry to whoever reads this I hate confrontation lol I just wanted to let Everyone be aware of this fault.

There is nothing “intense” about this eyeliner, rather it goes on like a totally average felt eyeliner pen – ie. slightly grayish and not jet black. I do like the applicator, though, it’s an oversized felt tip that’s not too firm or flimsy. The pigment was not enough for me as a cat eye liner, but it did work fine as a tight-liner/upper lash liner for me.

This gives a great line. You can do a finer or thicker line depending on how you apply it. I like that it dries quickly too and is pretty smudge resistant.
I don’t know if there is little product or what in there but mine seemed to dry up pretty quickly even though I kept the lid on tight.

I have just started to use this in Navy. I have also used Maybelline Master Precise and Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner Pen in the past few months. I don’t why I am surprised that this is a quality product. It seems to me that ELF does a really good job at quality control, despite their low prices. This is one of their really good products. I remember trying an Essence liquid liner recently and it applied beautifully, but smudged and melted away during the day. I always do a winged eyeliner, so I really need it to stay put. I didn’t expect this to be quite as blue as it appeared on the skin, but I still really like the colour. It is a true navy colour and it is flattering for my blue eyes. This liner also has serious staying power. It does not budge until I remove it at night. I guess the only question I have about it now is whether it will dry up and how long it will continue to apply as nicely as it does at the moment. I am going to purchase the black and brown pens based on how much I like this one. I paid $8 Australian for this. A bargain!

I was sad that Elf discontinued their Studio, but during an Elf haul, I decided to try this out. Usually I find eyeliner pens to not be pigmented enough and hard. This was not the case here. The tip of the pen was big, but the bottom was thin enough I could draw a thin line, and it actually goes on black. It applied so smoothly too. I thought this was going to be an HG until a couple hours later I looked in the mirror and it transferred onto my lower lids, giving me raccoon eyes. I was so disappointed. If it didn’t do this, it would be my go-to.

I have been looking for a good liquid eyeliner for the last year or so and this by far is the best I’ve tried. I’ve only bought the black one and so far I love it, the eyeliner hasn’t dried out, very good felt tip so you don’t have to apply harsh pressure. I recently got the Stila waterproof eyeliner, which in my opinion sucks compared to this E.L.F. eyeliner. I have oily lids so the product does transfer within 6 hours of wearing it but I just use my milani eyeshadow primer and this eyeliner lasts for 10 hours+. Super easy to remove at the end of the day as well

I was watching a YouTube video on drugstore makeup and heard tell that this stuff outdoes high-end liquid liner and is a breeze to apply. My curiosity piqued, I decided to give it a chance since, at the E.L.F. price point, I figured I didn’t have anything to lose. I’m usually a klutz with liquid eyeliner, but this applied perfectly the first time for me! I was so excited because high-end liquid liner with a wand applicator has been a disaster for me in the past. This liquid liner comes in the form of a felt tip pen, which is easier by a mile to apply. If I can get this stuff to look decent after multiple liquid liner fails in my makeup past, most anyone probably stands a chance of success with this particular product. I was pleasantly surprised and highly recommend this product. It’s matte black, not at all shiny. There are also a few other shades of this product on the company’s website, if you’re interested.
