this mascara is just okay. i probably like it best of all the drugstore mascaras i’ve tried (jordana, essence, covergirl, elf, nyx). it lengthens decently, it’s a pure black, it doesn’t smear or flake, and it’s really easy to remove. my only real complaint is that the brush is a bit pokey and it could lengthen a LITTLE bit more. but otherwise it’s a good mascara. i wouldn’t repurchase mainly because it’s not vegan (contains beeswax) but if you’re pressed for options you could do worse.
update: truth be told the more i use this mascara the more i like it lol. it is waterproof enough that it won’t smear on your eyes if you tear up/cry, but not so much so that it’s difficult to wash off. and it does make a pretty dramatic difference in how impactful my eyelashes appear. i still would not repurchase as it is not vegan, but i would love to see milani come out with a vegan version in the future. i would definitely consider purchasing that instead.
