I’ve used two tubs of this stuff, this is legit! It’s so calming on the skin and the ingredients are great. This was the only moisturiser that worked for me when I switched to korean skincare. It’s quite heavy so a small amount can cover a lot. I wouldn’t it suggest it in summer, Real Barriers other moisturisers are better suited to that environment.

This is some serious HG material, especially during these cold winter months that turn my dehydrated skin into Sahara desert or to treat the dry patches I occasionally have due to over-exfoliating. Since my skin is highly clog-prone, I depend on regular BHA exfoliating, so cutting that part down is not an option for me. And having sensitive and dehydrated skin doesn’t make it easier to find a good moisturizer.
The Real Barrier Extreme Cream however seems to have come straight out of my dreams. It’s super gentle, soothing and sinks nicely into the skin and gives me a heavy dose of moisture, without breaking me out or clogging my pores. Another thing I noticed about this cream is that the moisture is long lasting and my skin is hydrated until the evening. Atopalm claims that it creates a 72h-moisture-effect but I’m not sure about that. 😀 It contains ceramides, panthenol, madecassoside and allantoin which probably explains why it’s so calming. The scent is slightly minty, very faint and fades away quickly. A pea size amount is enough for my whole face.
This cream will probably be too heavy during the summer for me, but drier skin types may be able to use it through all the seasons. I highly recommend this to everyone, even oily skin types cause it can also be used on dry patches or other areas of the body that need intense moisture (ellbows, legs, heels…).
I will rate this with a 4.5 instead of 5 lippies, because the packaging sucks. I am not fond of jars, because I don’t find it very hygienic despite the spatula and think that tubes preserve the ingredients better that jars.
