I finally have consistently clear, smooth, bright skin for the first time since I was a kid. I visit my aesthetician every 6-8 weeks for a Face Reality peel. The peel is a blend of TCA, Mandelic, Lactic, azelaic & kojic acids. It is not irritating at all. No redness, I just have some light flaking a few days later. It makes the skin super soft, smooth, and helps with hyperpigmentation. The rest of the time I use the following Face Reality products daily:
A.M.
Face Reality Ultra Gentle Cleanser
Face Reality Calming Facial Toner
Face Reality 8% Mandelic Acid Serum
Face Reality Hydrabalance Hydrating Gel
Face Reality Daily spf 30 sunscreen Lotion
P.M.
Face Reality Ultra Gentle Cleanser
Face Reality Calming Facial Toner
Face Reality Hydrabalance Hydrating Gel
The only Face Reality product that I didn’t like was the benzoyl peroxide. It was gritty and turned my skin red, so I use another brand of BP that works well for me. I use that product every night. I know the rest of the Face Reality products are critical because I was using this same BP by itself and still had lots of breakouts. I have been using the products listed and getting the peels for almost 6 months now and my skin just keeps getting better as the acne scars and sun damage fade. I wish I had found this a long time ago!

I have been using the Face Reality line for three years now and I cannot say enough good things about how it has change my skin! I started off with the Hydration Emulsion Gel, the Acne Med benzoyl peroxide gel and the Glycolic Lactic Exfoliating Toner. I noticed my skin clearing up in THREE days. Now I have the gentle cleanser, acne scrub, cranberry cream and mandelic serum incorporated into my routine. I love how it’s not a one size fits all acne line like most acne products I come across. My skin has never looked this clear on a consistent basis before. I would highly recommend!
Note: you can only order the basic products on their website. You have to visit a Face Reality Acne Specialist to buy the serums and acne gel. (They test your skin to see how sensitive you are first). Thankfully, there is one in my city since I’m not near the Face Reality Clinic in California.

This line is seriously the best option for acne-prone folks. My skin hasn’t looked this good since Accutane. I had some serious breakouts that started around Thanksgiving, out of nowhere. I researched products and tried them, all to no avail. So, then I hopped around to a couple estheticians, but didn’t find one I felt really could help my situation. But in January, I found the BEST esthetician and she recommended this line. I was hesitant at first, because I tend to view benzoyl peroxide as a teen product and I’m 29. I had nothing to lose, so I followed my new facial guru’s recommendations and haven’t looked back since. Was I a little dried out in the beginning? Sure, but it does get better and now my skin is 95% clear. I’ll still get the occasional tiny spot here and there, but they go away in 2-4 days max (even hormonal ones). I also see my esthetician every 4-6 weeks for a peel or quickie facial. My only gripe with the products is the sizes they come in. They are pricier than drugstore products, but cheaper than something you’d get at Sephora or Dermstore. But, in all honesty they do last quite awhile.
Also, the products you use from the line will be customized by the company or your esthetician to meet your skin’s needs. It’s nice to have options. If you’re in the DFW area, pm me and I’ll recommend my facialist to you.

i unfortunately seem to be one of the few who had problems with this place and their routine (or maybe those who also did were not writing reviews..). i tried the long distance client thing..the people there were always rude and condescending when i expressed problems with my routine. and, worst of all, my skin looks a million times worse after starting with their program. i understand it could take time to look better but my skin looks worse than it has ever in my life. first there was the dryness from the excessive amounts of bp that i had to use both in a scrub and the acne med. well, when i complained of extreme tightness and itchiness i was told to scale back and no longer use the acne med. whoo boy. if i thought my skin was broken out from the irritation it was nothing compared to how it got after being off the bp for awhile. ick. i now have leftover red marks, cystic zits, and little red pimples all over my face. i want to cry. so i’m sorry but i can not give them a decent rating. but i’m happy for those it works for..i unfortunately am out $200 and whatever it takes me to fix this mess. sigh.
also, the routines and products are nothing special. bp scrubs and bp meds with some glycolic, salicylic or mandelic acid depending on your skintype. sometimes an exfoliating serum that i believe is made from vitamin a derivatives…basically nothing the ladies on here couldn’t help you figure out and tweak. then you could just go buy your own routine instead of wasting all the money here…i will say i liked the mandelic acid serum i got though.
