Bogota Blackberry is a deep red wine-berry color with lovely glimmer. Makeup Alley’s photo is well on target. It looks classy and innovative as well as can go from day to night really quickly. It applies like a dream, streaming from the brush without leaving touches, as well as wears like iron. Also, it’s NOT discontinued, able to be easily discovered as well as purchased from OPI’s internet site or wherever OPI products are sold, for a sensible rate. It comes in 3 formulas as well: the basic nail lacquer, Infinite Sparkle, and also Gel. There’s an essential reason that Bogota Blackberry has actually remained in OPI’s collection because the early ’90’s: it looks excellent on a selection of skin tones. You simply can not fail with this shade.

Initially, there’s a lot to such as about this gloss. It’s a gorgeous, medium-to-medium-dark, purple-leaning a glass of wine glimmer. It’s additionally potentially a one-coater, though I discover I favor two coats for full-depth of colour. It last as long as you ‘d normally expect from a shimmer by OPI, particularly with an excellent top layer. So, yes, nice gloss, overall.
And also there are some points I don’t such as. It tends to discolor cuticles and also possibly nails if you don’t make use of a top quality base coat. It’s a mess to get rid of, with red everywhere, regardless of just how mindful you are. As well as on my pale, cool-toned skin tone, unfortunately, something regarding the colour draws out all the red in my fingertips as well as gives me lobster hands so recognizable that also my husband detected it (which is saying a good deal!).
I read that Bogota Blackberry resembled OPI’s “I’m Not Truly A Waitress”, however a little bit more purple, and that’s not a bad description (in instance anybody else wants a contrast). But while INRAW works effectively on me, BB just does not. I have no idea why. Simply specifically the incorrect shade for my skin’s undertones, I guess. Regretfully, this is going into my destash box, however I make certain it will discover a delighted residence with someone that can wear this purple-wine much better than I can.

A one coat marvel!!!
I was able to discover this discontinued attractive polish at TJMaxx. Where has actually Bogota Blackberry been all my life?! This gloss is perfection!
A lovely claret red with a small shimmer, it meets all my needs for a 5 * polish. It has excellent appearance, goes on smoothly, insurance coverage is outstanding, opacity is best. As well as the most effective information… one coat is all I required!! I dislike 3 layers (generally toss them out), 2 is typical and also one is heavenly! I put on a leading coat of Seche Vite (for staying power) and also I have one of the most lovely manicure that took just mins.
I wish I run across this once again, I’ll be checking eBay and also amazon.com.
ETA: Bogota Blackberry has magnificent enduring power! I have actually used this for a week without chips or peeling. The ideas of the nails are showing some white now, yet it’s been a hectic week. I couldn’t have asked extra from 2 layers of any type of various other gloss. I’m doing another manicure with BB, to last for an additional week! And also if I do obtain a chip from abusing my nails, it will just take a couple of minutes to remodel.
One layer and you are holiday all set, who could request for more! It’s likewise a wonderful red for all year round.
BTW, I located it on ebay.com and also purchased a backup.

Bogota Blackberry is a deep red wine-berry color with beautiful shimmer. Makeup Alley’s photograph is well on target. It looks classy and sophisticated and can go from day to night very easily. It applies like a dream, flowing from the brush without leaving streaks, and wears like iron. Also, it’s NOT discontinued, able to be easily found and purchased from OPI’s website or wherever OPI products are sold, for a reasonable price. It comes in three formulations too: the standard nail lacquer, Infinite Shine, and Gel. There’s an important reason why Bogota Blackberry has been in OPI’s collection since the early ’90’s: it looks good on a variety of skin tones. You just can’t go wrong with this color.

Bogota Blackberry is a dark berry/burgundy shimmer polish. I can see why so many people like this polish – it looks classy on the nail.
The formula is great too. 2 coats gave me perfect coverage. It lasted well too.
It is very close to OPI I’m Not Really a Waitress, but BB has more of a berry undertone to it.

This is a beautiful, shimmering, deep reddish-plum polish. It’s beautiful for evening, but it’s mainstream enough to be okay for work too. The polish catches the light beautifully. It spreads easily and gives good coverage. There are definite pink undertones to this polish, so probably better suited to cool skin tones. This is one of my favorite classy colors, when I want my nails to look refined and elegant.

A gorgeous, shimmery, cool-toned deep red. Femme fatale red. Bond-girl in a casino red. I really hope the last reviewer is wrong about it being discontinued, this is my favourite toe colour.

Such a shame this has been discontinued – the perfect shimmery claret polish which is timeless and will never date. My partner owns a gorgeous motorcycle with a deep claret/gold paint scheme this is the exact colour of what Kawaski calls ‘candied wine’ the most beautiful shimmery wine polish I have ever owned.

A beautiful shimmery plummy red or berry. Fine shimmer. Great for fall & winter, plenty of color, not overly glittery, so work appropriate. Beautiful with grey or black or navy outfits. I like it on toes, too. Very pretty, especially on cool-toned skin.

i love this color its a classic color without being boring or typical. its one of my favorite OPI colors and a great polish to wear in the fall or winter.
dopeySyrup3
I really like this color, but not more than other reds. I don’t think I would buy this again.
