I really love this balm because, as the previous reviewer mentioned, it does not go on greasy or shiny. My lips are moisturized immediately, but I don’t have to deal with waiting for the slickness to disappear. It’s also good to use before I put on lipstick, matte or not, because of this. I’ve also used it for my elbows and it’s been great for that so overall I truly have no complaints.

I bought this stuff because I’d always been curious about pawpaw balms and saw it at TJ Maxx. I expected it to smell of papayas since there are papayas on the tube, but it reminded me a bit of Bag Balm. Thankfully, the smell dissipated. The scent is the reason why I did not give this product 5 lippies. I would highly recommend it, however, because its moisturizing properties are intense without any greasy residue. The packaging claims it can be used on lips, skin, hair, cuticles, and as a “beauty finishing” as they put it. It’s supposedly fragrance free, but as I mentioned, there is a scent when you first apply it. I’ve only tried it on my cuticles so far, and it’s really doing the trick for my Wyoming winter hands! So far, I really like it, minus the initial scent.
