Okay NOW we’re talking! I am always on the hunt for a good, long-lasting gel pencil in retractable form. Up until this point, the e.l.f. retractable pencil was my go-to, as it is extremely long-lasting. Problem is, you can’t really smudge it out, because it sets so fast.
So when I saw that the PF Eye Boost Gel Eyeliner Trio tends to get good reviews, I figured I’d give it a try. The price is great – around $12 for three liners. That’s really inexpensive!
Each of the liners included in this trio is a standout all on its own. The matte one is a gorgeous soft matte that’s perfect for a more subdued black liner look. The satin one is inky black, incredibly smooth, and smudges like a dream before it sets (not to mention it lasts really well on my waterline). The shimmer one is my absolute favorite. It’s more of a matte base, but the shimmers are iridescent rather than just silver. It’s subtle, but looks incredibly pretty! All three last very well, without flaking or smudging or fading for hours and hours. I’m so impressed!
Packaging is pretty standard. Just a twist-up design. It feels sturdy and clicks closed rather securely. I appreciate that the packaging also corresponds to the product inside. I can easily see which liner I’m grabbing without having to open it.
I’ll definitely be repurchasing this when I run out!
