I bought a small bundle of 6 eyeshadows after watching Hannah Liouise Poston on Youtube rave about this brand and shadows. Their good and affordable. I liked them enough to go back and buy a whole bunch more. As with any pigmented eyeshadows, they’re is some kickback in the pan, so be careful. You do get a lot of eyeshadow for the price compared to other indies. They have a lot of colors to choose from. So many in fact, that I was a little overwhelmed on their website. Shipping was fast – one thing I like about this company. I hope they come out with a palette next, with removable singles.

These eyeshadows have both pros and cons. Firstly, these are direct dupes for Natasha Denona’s formula. (I own every one of ND’s palettes except the mini’s.) It’s like the brand almost copied their formula. I say – almost, because there is one difference. The adept formula is not as tightly pressed, so when you use the eyeshadows they appear “dusty” – at least to me. As far as pigmentation goes, both the mattes and the shimmers are 100% pigmented and last all day. I use Maybelline color tatoo in the shade front runner as a primer. This combination makes a bold look last from 6 am to 10 pm. I’ve heard rumors that this formula and the kaleidos formula is the same. I only own one palette from kaleidos and i would say they are very similar, except the adept shadows are not as tightly pressed. Another con is the square pans. They look nice in photos, but they bunch together in my adept palette, so I had to use a spatula to separate the colors, which takes up more room. Another con for me is the amount of product you get. Now, you do get 3 whopping grams for $3.50, but to me, the pan is overpacked and so it’s easy to stain your fingers when moving pans, lets say, with your hands — and yes, a lot of colors will stain. You’ll need a really good makeup remover to take off the eyeshadow. I hear youtubers talk about the diamond formula. To me, this formula is overhyped, Compared to the shimmers and mattes, the diamond formula lacks pigmentation. There just glittery toppers, but the glitter stays put. You don’t need glue….big deal. Over all, their color range provides everything you need to dupe your favorite high end formula – especially if your spending the coin, like I was on Natasha Denona. I want to point out one other con. The swatches. At the time I made my first purchase, there were none. Now there is a whole bunch, plus a ton on their insta page. Just something to keep in mind…that a company would expect people to buy eyeshadows without swatches. The names are numbered and not like, say Colourpop. That doesn’t bother me because all of the shades are labeled on both the pan and packaging.

UPDATE: I bought yet another bundle for $15. I want to digress for one moment and say that ACS17 and ACD4– holy smokes!!! The color is 100% phenomenally gorgeous. They have already started to raise the price as the free shipping offer on the bundles is no longer available. One color arrived damaged and that was ACS34. The customer service was good. They refunded me for the eyeshadow. I had to send them a photo of the damage. So far, I’m thrilled to find high quality eyeshadow for such a cheap price and I’m glad I got ACS2 before it sold out. The green /gold color is something you can only appreciate in person. The best part about the eyeshadows is the square pans. I love me a mosaic tile collection in a magnetic palette!
So far I’ve purchased 3 bundles, priced at $15 each, with free shipping. I don’t know how long the price will last. The quality is way better than Colourpop or MUG, or MAC or Viseart (I mention Viseart with disgust because I just purchased a Grand Pro palette during the Sephora VIB sale and ugh — it’s not as good!!!!!! WTF?) and on par with other indies like Sydney Grace and Looxi. Individually, the eyeshadows are $3.50 each, but they seem like $7 or $8 eyeshadows. I heard about this brand from Youtuber Hannah Louise Poston (makeup) I already had their palettes, and so far, I’m impressed with the quality.
