I loved the colour of this (I had No. 220 – Pink IRL) but I didn’t like how it felt once applied. It was so slippery and uncomfortable on my lips, it made them feel like I’d been eating really greasy food. It had absolutely no staying power either – I found it had completely disappeared within about 20 minutes of applying it. This costs £7.99 in the UK and personally, I don’t think it’s worth it.

These are a slippery, rather than sticky gloss. So if that is your preference, you might love these. My issue with glosses that are more slippery is that they lack staying power. I find these wear off very quickly. However, they are very pretty while they are on the lips. ( I think Revlon had a product very similar to these some years ago, I think they were called Lip Glides. I bought these thinking they might be the same. They had a similar application, but those were thicker and were much more long wearing.) I think these are a nice enough product, but they are just not for me. I really need something longer wearing. No hate for them, though.

I LOVE these and hope more colors come out and they’re never discontinued!! I’ve got Crimson Feels, Wine Trip, and Naughty Mauve. What I really love about these is that they’re truly buildable. They can be sheer or opaque and it never feels too thick or clumpy. They also fade BEAUTIFULLY and leave almost a stain on the lips, especially Crimson Feels and Wine Trip. All the shades I’ve tried apply really evenly. Because you have some control over the intensity they’re great for every day or a special occasion. I wouldn’t call them moisturizing, because it’s kind of a thin fluid, but they also aren’t drying and don’t sink into lip lines or anything. I can’t think of a single con to these; they’re great.

I really enjoy this. I have the Naughty Mauve and it’s a nice tint of color for my NW15 skin tone. I like how it’s a wash of color instead of a full lipstick. Lasts a good 4-5 hours and fades generally well instead of cracking or flaking. Looking forward to trying Wine Trip and the Rose color.

I saw these online somewhere (maybe Ulta) and was intrigued so I picked one up at Walgreen’s — I wanted the Wine shade but I forgot to check the tube and ended up with Naughty Mauve instead (which is fine). I like this product a lot, but I really hate the packaging — the sponge tip applicator feels very fragile, and I’m probably going to end up breaking it off by accident at some point and then the product will be ruined. I wish they’d gone with a doe-foot applicator! However, the color is very nice on my NW20 skin and works really well for a MLBB on my pigmented lips. Staying power is above average — it dries down to a stain and doesn’t feel disgusting or dry my lips out. It also doesn’t come off on cups, win! Despite my quibbles with the packaging, I like the idea of a lip cushion tint and Revlon’s execution is good, and I would probably buy this product again.

I am crazy for sheer lip tints, but I also favor deeper (wine/plum) shades to add color to my death pale lips and complement my pink-toned super pale complexion. I love lip stains because I work long days and often don’t have time for touch-ups. I got this in the shade Wine Trip last week and I love it! It’s a beautiful sheer-yet-deep, blue-ish wine shade that I think looks lovely with my complexion. It leaves a nice stain that lasts for about 10 hours of a 12 hour work shift for me. It’s not particularly moisturizing, but I just swipe on some lip balm (so no mirror needed!) when my lips start feeling dry. Applicator applies a little unevenly, but I just blot excess with a tissue and that does the job. Price was about $9 at Ulta, which is pretty good. All in all, I love this and plan to order a spare.

This product is GREAT if you put it on your finger and then pat it onto your lips. The application is much more even and you get a true stain look. I’ve lurked on this site for 10 years and wrote my first review bc I don’t want this product to get discontinued. It’s the only decent drugstore stain around! Doesn’t last forever but very easy to apply, so not a huge deal.

I am always looking for new lip products & got pulled in because my new thing is tints & stains. I purchased the rose one which is a great mlbb shade. i really like this product & keep this shade in my purse always. i find its a great lip thats easy to apply & both shade & texture r perfect for an interview or a “secret makeup look” a la Lisa Eldridge. I am a big drug store lover & have tried a lot..i think the texture of these are definitely unique for drugstore..It goes on with a bit of sheen but dries satin-mattish. It can be built up a bit too but never gets sticky or thick I love the texture & think its a great option for those who dont like thick products on their lips. i havent tried the Lancome shakers so cant compare. i took one lipped off because its not super long lasting. But this may be this shade..I am ok with that because using this is so easy. i also purchased the coral one to test anither color & longevity but havnt worn 2 much to report on that 1. i am actually going to buy a 2nd..for home & 1 for travel..i really enjoy these & was surprised as it seems gimicky, but the texture really is unique for lip products in this range..i am not sure i get powdery from this..its more a mix of stain & sheerish gel. i dont find it drying at all..hope this helps. Think if u are new to lip products, like stains or balms, or not a fan of think texture this is worth a try!

I got pulled into the gimmick — lip cushion tint and all. It’s a cute one, though, and I’m not disappointed. That said, I don’t see myself buying more of these.
First off I got Fancy Rose, kind of a medium pinky brown hue. You remove the cap and twist the top to get product. For the first use you need to twist it a lot to get it coming out. It almost becomes that game. Will two more, no, three more twists do it? Is it seeping out yet? That’s nothing unusual, though. It’s just that starting point where one wonders exactly how long it will take for product to start coming out without it overflowing like wax lava.
The color, like I noted earlier, is a pinky brown. It’s very MLBB (my lips, but better) on me. It looks natural, especially if I just pat a bit on. It looks satiny and a bit powdery, and feels about the same. Add a bit more for a more opaque lipstick look, but I prefer just dabbing it on for a pretty, slightly more polished natural look.
The texture is decent, but it’s not super moisturizing. For some it will be slightly drying. (It’s not uncomfortable on me, but it’s not exactly soothing.) It has a slight flavor, a tiny bit sweet, and a pinch artificial in a cosmetic sort of way. It also has a faint sweet/lipsticky scent. It’s kind of unusual for Revlon. I’d almost expect the scent to be from Maybelline, were Maybelline to drastically tone down their 2017-18-era lipstick fragrances.
Staying power is okay. Not great, but not awful. Since Fancy Rose is a natural-looking color it doesn’t matter, as it’s easy to dab a bit more on and it looks quite pretty.
Is it a homerun for me? No, not really. The packaging is cute (though I can’t help but wonder if the tiny cap might eventually stop sticking securely, but so far it seems pretty good), the color and texture is pretty, but it’s not anything to write home about (at least not for me). It was a fun impulse purchase, and I’ll enjoy it, but it’s in no danger of surpassing my current favorites in terms of performance and comfort — Lipstick Queen, Burt’s Bees, ColourPop or Urban Decay.

I have this in High End Coral. It’s a cute shade. This thing is shaped like a fat tube with a little cap; take the cap off and there’s a big cushion applicator. You have to twist to dispense product, and the first time you use it you must twist a LOT to get it going, but that’s generally par for the course. It has an oily, slippery texture that is also a little powdery? It’s actually a little moisturizing. The color is sheer and ends up looking like a stain. I like it: I dig the texture, I dig the look, love the color, I even like the applicator. It just has terrible lasting power 🙁 Like, not the worst, but bad enough for me to skip it and use something else a lot of the time.
