This is a great all-rounder serum that claims to do lots of things in one formula: anti-ageing, brightening, hydrating. While I can’t say much for the first two claims (maybe the one bottle isn’t enough to show these results and I’d have to use the product for longer) it is incredibly hydrating without feeling heavy or causing me breakouts. I’m still in my mid-20s and anti-ageing isn’t a concern for me when it comes to skincare, so I was mainly looking out for how well it can help my hyperpigmentation heal. The niacinamide, n-acetyl glucosamine and licorice root extract are supposed to help with this but I really don’t think I saw quick results as I have with other brightening products. Having said that, I can still see myself repurchasing this one day because I think it’s feels nice on the skin and I do believe that its ingredients will still bring benefits to my skin even though these results are not visible (niacinamide has a lot more benefits than just brightening). I also like to think I am supporting an indie brand out there that isn’t just after customer’s money but actually cares about skincare.

Another product I wanted desperately to love from Stratia. The few days I can use it before it starts breaking me out my skin looks phenomenal – pale, even toned, hydrated -, but then it gives way to deep clogs that take a week or two to clear up even with using tretinoin most nights. Like Liquid Gold I don’t think this is a bad product so much as it just doesn’t work with my skin. I generally don’t have issues with glycols, but I think in these Stratia products something about their formulation just really clogs my skin. Too bad.

This is a great serum with proven ingredients, a creator who researched and built her line around effective ingredients minus all of the unnecessary fillers, fragrances and preservatives. I love this serum. It’s hydrating, soothing and contains ingredients I am looking for in my skincare. Let’s not forget affordable!

I’m dry, using Retin A and have tried hundreds of products low to high end. This serum is effective with zero irritation, which I need. It hydrated and calms my skin. Top this with Liquid Gold and even when my skin is irritated from Retin A this soothes and hydrates.

Had a bad reaction to this product. Same as the Liquid Gold. Itchy skin, irritated skin, bumps (CC), red small pimples reaction. I think if you really have sensitive skin like mine you might not like this product. Maybe test a sample first if you can find one in AB reddit. I wouldn’t repurchase.

I love this. I can not use vitamin C, but I do love niacinamide. When combined with licorice it really brightens skin and fades dark spots. I have seen real brightening snice I started. I was using Shark Sauce , which I also like very much, and has similar ingredinets. . This is less elegant but costs a good deal less. It feels like a light dry oil. It still goes in easily. It also has DMAE which helps lines and firmness. It’s my only serum and the only one that really did anything, besides shark sauce. Shark Sauce is a bit mor elegant in the day, but it’s not really an issue for me.
Edit: I use a few dropso on the whole face. Lately, I have been putting an extra drop directly on some old melasma and it’s helping.

Sorry Shark Sauce, as much as I love you and your company this might be replacing you permanently.
Although Rewind is marketed as a DMAE serum, it contains 5% niacinamide, licorice root and N-Acetyl Glucosamine which are the stars of Shark sauce. It also has rice protein which my skin loves and centella extract which is good for acne, and of course DMAE which is a controversial ingredient but seems to have some proof that it works for ant-aging.
It doesn’t have sea kelp bioferment like Shark Sauce which, while very moisturizing, could be an acne trigger.
My skin seems to love it. If my skin was at all irritated which is, unfortunately, common due to tretinoin, Shark Sauce would sting a little. Rewind never stings. It also comes in a glass dropper bottle that is more elegant than the plastic bottle Shark Sauce. And what prompted me to try it the most, is that its cheaper than Shark Sauce.
