I bought this pencil eyeliner off an Instragram add. It advertised a smudge free application, waterproof, and all day wear. Meh. I followed the instructions of applying the eyeliner and letting set for up to 60 sec (I even went as long as 2 min a couple times) before applying the rest of my eye makeup and this “Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner” disappeared completely about an hour or two after application. At $22 it is not worth it for me to continue to buy and have to carry around in my purse to reapply. Especially since I am an apply make up only once a day kind of girl.

This eyeliner smudges all over the place and fades. I do like their mascara.

I’m a little confused by the hype with this brand. The makeup is subpar at best. I mean, wetnwild is better than this and at a better price. Anyway, I bought two colors – a deep burgandy/brown shade and a black shade and it smudges everywhere. I can only use it on my upper eyelid. I originally bought this because I thought it would stay put on my bottom lid – but no – I had raccoon eyes.

I am a 63 YO who has blepharitis and have had many problems with keeping liner and mascara on my eyes (instead of on my face or disappearing totally after 4 hours) and this is hands down the best liner (gentle & long lasting) I have ever used. I’ve probably spent 5 times over the cost of one of theses babies on multiple purchases of drug store brands that just don’t stay on and irritate my sensitive eyes. My last liner lasted 4 months with no deterioration or loss of quality…and no new eye infections. This is a great company, pure ingredients and there are coupon codes on the web that I’ve found that help save costs. Free shipping on $35 and over. Their motto is “Beauty with a Purpose” and for every Thrive Causemetics product purchased, one is donated to help a woman thrive supporting cancer and women’s and children’s charities. This is a win/win on all sides!

Just tried tis along with the Mascara.
It seems ridiculously expensive for an eye liner, so why try it? why consider buying it again?
Smudged liner doesn’t convey bedroom eyes as you get older, it looks more like you put on makeup in the car mirror, or have been up all night. So I like something that will stay put.
Every pencil seems to smear – or they are too hard to get on. Wet liners come off too harsh. Gel liners I do like – but don;t always stay put. This goes on as sort of a liquid or gel – but you can smude it if you want – but dries and stays put without looking plastic-y. I can actually follow the advice to line between the ashes, upper and lower. I also tried it on eyebrow gaps – it can work there. too. The color I tried – a grey – is not very highly pigmented, so that might be a drawback – other colors might be different.
IT STAYS ON.
