I have no skin problems and only needed to hydrate my skin.
Thick cream. No significant results showed neither in boosting glow nor softening dry skin.
Comparing between price and quality, the value of this product’s only similar to half-price products like Kiehls basic moisturizers.

Other than the strong fragrance, it’s good. I even bought it again until I realized my face got red because it was sensitive to it.

This is just a fantastic moisturizer – it keeps my skin hydrated and glowy-looking, it really does soften fine lines/wrinkles and it evens skin tone. I have sensitive skin and I’ve had zero problems with this moisturizer. I wish it wasn’t as expensitve as it is, but it’s kind of worth it since there are very few moisturizers that work this well. I like the packaging, and the moisturizer lasts a good while (you don’t need to use very much when applying).
There’s actually some sunscreen in this, but i use it with another brand’s sunscreen. It may be worth mentioning that Clarins makes a product called Super Restorative Day, with SPF 20, but the formula they use for the SPF 20 version is different and I found it to be nowhere near as good this moisturizer.

This was a savior when my skin was recovering from a bad eczema episode. Very rich and helped resolved my dry flakes in a few days. No odor. No sting on my irritated dry skin. I gently patted on my face and neck.

Amazing is like crack of great type for the skin it filled in lines of my smile line and little expression line above my eyebrow the tiny micropearls in the cream I use it daily and re buy every 6 months a little goes long way I mix it with three essentials oils . The best $122 spend double winged powerful cream. Wished was bigger jar for the price with a cuter pump styling.

My facial skin was reacting badly to an antibiotic I had to take for a couple of weeks. I’ve had great success with Clarins in the past and had a sample of this cream, so I took a chance and tried it when nothing else I had was working (CeraVe, Laura Mercier, Paula’s Choice, oils). This did the trick and over a week of use, I noted a dramatic improvement in not only the rash around my mouth and chin, but everywhere else, as well. Bumps on the apples of my cheeks (probably dairy allergy) that have been there most of my life are gone, too. My skin became more translucent and glowy than it has been in a very, very long time. The skin around my eyes (lots of dehydration lines lately) is far more hydrated and smooth, too. I hate that this is so expensive, but a little does go a long way, so I will be repurchasing soon. Oh, and my mineral makeup and liquid foundation went on like a dream over this.

Best. Moisturizer. Ever. I am quite a few years away from having the “mature” skin that this product is geared toward. But I am absolutely obsessed with it. I can’t really say how it works long-term because I only use it on special occasions (it is expensive!). But within seconds of putting it on I notice a visible difference in my skin. It looks even and glowing, and the fine lines are completely filled in. I use this when I want my skin to look perfect and it does the job. Flipping beautiful!!!

I have been using the entire Clarins Super Restorative line for several years. Even though I have from time to time tried other products even at higher price points, I always come back to Clarins as it works and is pleasant to use. The trick is, after serum, to warm a VERY small amount of cream between your hands and press it onto your face. No strong smell, and no oil slick. In Canada we have a loyalty program where you buy 15 products (any product/any price) and then you get to choose whatever you want free – usually we choose the most expensive, the SR Serum – and the company sends it to you. This, along with the many promotions keeps the supply steady and makes it more affordable. The SR range really does work!!

This is a review of Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream without SPF (in French: Creme Haute Exigence Jour Multi-Intensive).
I have just started to use this, so it’s too early to say whether I would buy it again. For the first few days, it did make a visible difference to my skin. My facial features looked more relaxed, and my skin tone seemed more even.
But a few days later, I’m not so sure about it. The scent is beginning to get to me — I find myself not looking forward to putting it on my face because it’s so overpowering. Also, my skin is starting to feel tighter, and not in a good way. I’ve noticed that it feels good only if I put a lot of the cream on. With a regular amount, I don’t feel moisturized enough.
I do love the jar it comes in — it looks and feels nice — but it isn’t hygenic. So the jury is still out. As things stand, I’m put off by the tightness, the strong scent, the high cost ($115 for 50 ml), and the chemicals (including parabens). But attracted by the initial feeling of comfort and look and feel of smooth skin.
The ingredients list for the day cream with SPF is listed here
Update: I’m going to take this back to the store. My skin has started feeling tight and itchy, and the very long, chemical ingredients list has me worried.
