100% lanolin, and a wonderful healing product for lips. The texture is super thick and you need the tiniest amount to fully cover your lips. It will be a little difficult to spread on, patting it on the lips may help a bit. The staying power is phenomenal. I read somewhere that the skin on our lips is very similar to the skin on our nipples and probably why this works so well, assuming you do not have an allergy or sensitivity to lanolin. I never used this as a nipple cream but the large tube (40g) of this will last a lifetime for my lips. Seriously, if you use more than a grain of rice sized amount you are wasting this because you don’t need much at all. I bought this for about $10CAD which is very inexpensive considering the Lano brand at Sephora “The Original 101 Ointment Mulitpurpose Superbalm” retails for $23CAD and is only 15g containing exactly the same 100% lanolin it it. Sure, the Lano product comes in a cute metal tube but this is actually not as durable as the Lansinoh packaging. If you like using lanolin for your lips, not to mention any other area on your body, this is a really worthwhile purchase.
