I had high hopes for this item as the advertising and marketing was so attractive. I purchased it up quickly. Right here are my thoughts after ending up a bottle of it.
1. The scent. It’s obtained rosemary in it- WHY??? So there is a stronger fragrance to it. I don’t especially like solid fragranced face items but I made it function to finish the container.
2. Performance. It absolutely follows up on its claims to make you look Glowy. Nonetheless, as most people have pointed out, it can make you look a bit oily so it’s just indicated for the high points of your face. I’m very dry so this typically isn’t a problem with products yet with this one it was.
3. Lasting power. This does last all day. I’ll put it on very early and also by the time I obtain residence it’s still there, however, if I’ve applied it as a base below structure I’m normally in a whole world of pain when I look in the mirror. Foundations constantly separate if I utilize them over this item. Normally over the top lip.
Now, the greatest reason for my poor score is the fact that I always have inflammation bumps on my skin at the end of the day. From my research study I’m 90% certain it’s the rosemary which once more begs the inquiry- why?
Choices for those like me who have delicate skin or desire a similar product without all the grease- SAIE Glowy Gel.

I do not utilize around my face as I have a tendency to get a greasy Tzone however instead include it at highlighter indicate make my skin appearance less level and winter season drained. This goes on sheer for me yet I am pretty light, I would encourage obtaining a tester initially if you have much darker skin incase it goes on also light.
I am not a follower of sparkly or strong highlighters as well as this gets the job done that I desire for a daytime “radiance” over the top of a little concealer and light powder.
I’m not 100% certain if I would acquire this once more and it is not a great glossier product (for me the mascara and also cloud paint are their best items).
4 lippies – I removed for packaging which I locate a little bit on the naff and as well infant pink side, the bottle feels high quality as well as heavy.

Pros:.
Really natural looking luster (see disadvantages!).
Does not damage me out.
Not insane pricey (I use 1/2 pump just per usage as opposed to the 1-2 they reveal online ).
Readily available as component of Glossier collections which cuts down rate.
Cons:.
This is EXTREMELY all-natural looking, I do make use of a percentage as well as it takes place rather shiny yet it dries out to a hardly visible luster.
I discovered that this smells quite strongly of rosemary when you first apply, I do not mind this however it is quite medicinal so perhaps not wonderful for everyone.

I can not use this throughout my face, and also I’m no longer oily as I have actually aged. It really feels really overbearing on my skin if made use of as a base. If used under make-up, the foundation transfers and also slides throughout my face. Utilized alone, it does not offer any type of coverage as well as I remain looking perspiring.
Where this product shines for me is used * ahead * of make-up on the peaks of my cheeks/cupid’s bow. It creates a really stunning, fresh, emphasize. Mind you, it in fact IS fresh. The item doesn’t set, so if you touch your face you will certainly feel oil.
I’m actually undecided if I would certainly bought. I have an interest in exactly how this will perform in the warmer months.

I had high hopes for this product as the advertising was so beautiful. I bought it up immediately. Here are my thoughts after finishing a bottle of it.
1. The scent. It’s got rosemary in it- WHY??? So there is a stronger fragrance to it. I don’t particularly like strong fragranced face products but I made it work to finish the bottle.
2. Performance. It absolutely follows through on its claims to make you look Glowy. However, as most people have pointed out, it can make you look a bit greasy so it’s only meant for the high points of your face. I’m very dry so this typically isn’t an issue with products but with this one it was.
3. Lasting power. This does last all day. I’ll put it on early and by the time I get home it’s still there, but, if I’ve applied it as a base underneath foundation I’m usually in a whole world of hurt when I look in the mirror. Foundations always separate if I use them over this product. Usually above the upper lip.
Now, the biggest reason for my subpar rating is the fact that I always have irritation bumps on my skin at the end of the day. From my research I’m 90% sure it’s the rosemary which again begs the question- why?
Options for those like me who have sensitive skin or want a similar product without all the grease- SAIE Glowy Gel.

I don’t use all over my face as I tend to get a greasy Tzone but rather add it at highlighter points to make my skin look less flat and winter drained. This goes on sheer for me but I am pretty pale, I would advise getting a tester first if you have much darker skin incase it goes on too light.
I am not a fan of sparkly or strong highlighters and this does the job that I want for a daytime “glow” over the top of a little concealer and light powder.
I’m not 100% sure if I would buy this again and it is not a brilliant glossier product (for me the mascara and cloud paint are their best products)

Pros:
Very natural looking sheen (see cons!)
Does not break me out
Not crazy expensive (I use 1/2 pump only per use rather than the 1-2 they show online )
Available as part of Glossier sets which cuts down price
Cons:
This is VERY natural looking, I do use a small amount and it goes on quite shiny but it dries down to a barely noticeable sheen
I found that this smells pretty strongly of rosemary when you first apply, I don’t mind this but it is pretty medicinal so maybe not nice for everyone

I can’t use this all over my face, and I’m no longer oily as I’ve gotten older. It feels very oppressive on my skin if used as a base. If used under makeup, the foundation transfers and slips all over my face. Used alone, it doesn’t provide any coverage and I’m left looking sweaty.
Where this product shines for me is used *on top* of makeup on the high points of my cheeks/cupid’s bow. It makes for a very beautiful, dewy, highlight. Mind you, it actually IS dewy. The product doesn’t set, so if you touch your face you will feel oil.
I’m really on the fence if I would repurchase. I’m interested in how this will perform in the warmer months.

I like this product and have been using it in the winter when I don’t wear my usual sunscreen, which has also oils in it. It gives a nice sheen, catching the light and making my skin look more even. It does help with moisturizing, but so would any face oil I think. What I really love to do mix a tiny bit of this with cloud paint and use it as a glowy wash of color over my cheeks. It’s really beautiful that way.
I have the 0.5 ounce version from a set and it looks like I’ve barely made a dent in it over the past ~2 months. When I’m not using blush, I sometimes use a little less than one full pump all over my face, concentrated at high points. I can’t imagine how anyone could use two full pumps of this without it being super greasy, but of course both skin type and taste varies so much. For reference, I have pretty dry, flaky skin in the winter, used a full pump once and it was (I thought) too much.

I really agree with the reviewer below who says this is “a very particular kind of product.” I also feel like it’s going to have a very different particular use for each individual person. With that said… I also quite like it for how I am using it. Glossier bills it as skincare but multitasking as a highlighter/glass skin product. For me, this is a glow product but I’m not sure if I’d really call it a highlighter. It’s a very fresh, un-made-up, dewy, glow. So whatever that is to you.
To begin – I’m not a huge Glossier fan, but I have enjoyed a couple products (cloud paints, boy brow). I got a sample of this when I recently bought the stretch concealer (jury’s out on that one still). When I first used the sample I was skeptical – what the heck was this goopy, vaguely iridescent junk and why did they want me to smear it all over my face? Well, I did it anyway. The results were … questionable. My face felt dewy all day. Minimal makeup did not wear well with that much on my face. My first lesson with this product was portion control! I was intrigued enough by the fact that it really seemed to lock in my skin care products throughout the day and keep my skin looking freshly moisturized. I’m 34 and though I’ve been diligent about skincare, I do suffer from dryness, sensitivity as a result, and a bit of dehydration. While I can’t vouch for the efficacy of this product AS skincare itself, I do feel like it keeps the products I apply more locked into the skin and therefore makes my existing routine more effective, and it staves off that dried-out look I feel like I get mid-afternoon.
Long story short, I was intrigued enough by my experience to test this out with a full-size bottle. I feel like one pump is more than sufficient – 2 pumps, as noted on the bottle, will really over-grease your situation. The product goes on VERY glossy/dewy and it does dry down but not completely. This may turn some off, but it’s really not noticeable if you don’t over apply. I let it dry down, then I use a bit of concealer under my eyes and around my nose, and then I’m good. I sometimes add a bit of powder depending on the concealer. Note – I do not wear a full face of foundation, generally. Sometimes I use MAC Face & Body, but I generally have decent skin so I lucked out in that respect. I can’t vouch for how this works with heavier foundations. Even so, you do need to be careful not to over apply, or you will your mascara migrating and your concealer creasing. It’s just a more emollient product and those are the potential pitfalls. I feel like on one hand this makes my skincare work better and my skin glow more naturally, but on the other it makes some of the products I use a bit more high maintenance…. it’s a give and take but ultimately worth it to me.
Finally, those with sensitivities should be aware of the ingredients label. There are a number of different oils and I can imagine it could clog some simply due to its viscosity. So far, no breakouts from my end but my skin isn’t too reactive.

I am in my 20s, I have combination skin that can get very dry and flaky from using tretinoin in the winter. I wanted to try this out to use under foundations that were too matte for my taste in the winter, and as a way of getting a more nat he am highlight on my cheekbones. I should have checked the ingredients list carefully, but this does have rosemary essential oil in it and it has a pretty strong scent. Luckily it doesn’t seem to irritate my skin but I am always a bit hesitant about using fragrances products on my face.
I think this does work for its purpose but it’s probably more suited to people who already have great skin and don’t plan to wear much makeup on top of it because it does make whatever you put on top of it not last as long. I have a lot of skin issues like acne scars, redness, and large pores so I realize that this product wasn’t really meant for me. I think this highlights large pores but I definitely don’t use it all over my face, just on the dryest areas which have smaller pores.
I think it’s also worth noting that I don’t believe this would do a better job at its purpose than using a bit of facial oil and layering that with a serum under your foundation. I have tried this with Squalane oil and hyaluronic acid serum which seems to do the same thing and the nice think is that you can avoid the fragrance that way.
I was really suckered in by the packaging and I thought the concept was cool but I definitely didn’t need this. If you’re a skincare hoarder like me you can probably get the same effect from what you already have.

This is a very particular kind of product. It feels a bit sticky/tacky when it first goes on, and looks wet. This wet look fades in a little while and skin feels dewy. I have used it over bb cream which might be making the bb cream wear off/slide around faster. But on the plus side, it makes undereye fine lines much less noticeable on me, and that is where I concentrate it. I don’t know about the therapeutic benefits but cosmetically I like that glossy look and feel. I would not use it on oily skin.

Amazing stuff! I’m using it as a serum/primer- under my foundation, or sometimes…just on its own with a dusting of powder. If you are in your 30’s, 40’s or 50’s and craving that natural, youthful, dewy sheen…get this gorgeous serum! It looks and feels soft and luxurious, and is an impossible combo of both skincare and beauty-enhancing makeup. Words fail me here—/just try it and you won’t be disappointed!

Man, I wanted to resist this. I already own 3 different highlighters, and two of them are already from Glossier! But curiosity got the best of me and I picked it up in my last order. This is a really cool product -halfway between skincare and makeup. The skincare part is the incredible blend of oils that make my skin feel soft and bouncy hour HOURS after I apply this. The makeup part is the mica in the serum that gives it that glow. It feels amazing going on, rich but not sticky or suffocating, and the glow lasts more than 8 hours so far. I was wearing this earlier in the week when I went for my skin cancer check and the derm mentioned twice how nice my skin is. Granted that is not due to Futuredew alone because I am really careful with my skin, but it does give your skin that little lit-up boost. I put this on after my sunscreen which I let sink in for a really long time before I apply Futuredew. I’ve worn this alone, under the Skin Tint, and under Kjaer Foundation and it looks great each way. Another Glossier Keeper!

I wore this (over my foundation) for the first time last week. Went to the hair salon and while my stylist was washing my hair she told me that I have “lovely skin” – Me – lovely skin????? Had to be the future dew
