This stuff is liquid gold… it does great things for my skin. It’s exfoliating without any stinging or burning. I like to apply it in the mornings, as it makes my makeup go on so smooth and evenly. I like that ingredients are natural and effective.. Also like that it smells like pears lol. Only con is I hate that it costs so much. I used mine up in two months

Resurfacing Serum is a clean exfoliator with a light lotion texture. It absorbs easily and is non-greasy. It’s pink in color and has an earthy, lightly floral scent that can be off-putting if smelled after anything overtly sweet (it might have something to do with the sea buckthorn oil). The packaging is typical Tata Harper.
What separates Resurfacing Serum from other products is its multitasking mix of antioxidants—which makes it akin to two serums in one—and its low-and-slow approach to exfoliation. Where most exfoliants are intended for use a few times weekly or monthly, Resurfacing Serum can be used daily without sensitization or over-exfoliation. (The package instructions read “AM and PM” use, but web CS clarifies once per day, AM or PM. I suggest skipping if using a different exfoliant of equal or greater power.) This will vary by person and comfort with chemical exfoliants.
I use Resurfacing Serum each night, along with an acid toner (P50). This fulfills any antioxidant gaps left by my nightly retinol product and provides the right level of exfoliation to keep my skin continuously soft and bright. I don’t find other exfoliants necessary anymore. I avoid free radicals while also avoiding the potential of unnecessary sensitization, inflammation, and the haircut-like cycle in which there’s always a “best” period and a “. . . not my best” period.
I typically appreciate a 12 month PAO (Tata Harper recommends using all products within six months of opening and 12 months after buying), but this product is easy to use within the specified period. It doesn’t have a tiny price tag, but its ability to replace exfoliating, brightening, and antioxidant products justifies the cost.

This is quite pricey ($110 CAD), but it’s the first product I’ve ever purchased that effectively lightened my hyper pigmentation. Over the years, I have tried countless dark spot correctors and they never work. I recently had a bad break out that left me with hyperpigmentation and scarring on my forehead, cheeks and lower chin. I initially started with a full month treatment of Dr. Dennis Gross pads, and they did nothing for my scars. I received a sample of this serum and every single day I’ve used this, my scars have lightened and cleared up more. I picked up the full bottle as soon as I ran out of the sample. The serum comes out of a beautiful glass bottle, layers well under night cream and has little to no scent.
