okay, I am a juvia’s place super fan! i ADORE every palette i own from this brand. i just recently really started doing eyeshadow, and am having so much fun with juvia’s! the quality is excellent, the colors are so gorgeous. we brown-skinned beauties are living in such a fun time for makeup right now. these colors absolutely flatter brown and deeper skin tones! i have the zulu, saharan 2, the tribe, the nubian 3 and the warrior 2. and I can’t wait for the berries to come in the mail, lol !

Simply amazing. When I first saw this, I instantly fell in love and had to order it, and I’m happy I did.
The colors are super nice and pigmented, they blend easily, and in my opinion, you can do so much with them. Obviously not all of them are for a everyday makeup look (if you’re someone like me who doesn’t go crazy with the eyeshadow anyways) but you can totally do a very basic look with the warm shades.
The package is very nice too, and the palette is super affordable since the quality is so great. The only tiny thing I can think of as a con is the lack of a mirror, but it’s not that big of a problem. Would recommend this to anyone, and I really want to get more palettes from Juvia’s place!

I bought this because of Stephanie Nicole’s you tube reviews. (Stephanie has an abrasive voice but she is so smart and truthful, give her a listen.) I was just blown away by the quality of these shadows, the vibrant pigmentation and buttery textures. This palette has me wearing colors I would have ruled out a year ago, and a year ago I was 60 years old. The metallic green is heaven and the oranges and pinks double as blush with a very light hand. And it’s affordable! I love it so much I bought the Zulu palette as well, and I’m crazy about that one, too. Try it, you’ll find a side you didn’t know you had.

I love love Juvia’s Place! For the price point I think it’s the best shadows out for people of color and for my fairer sisters also. I am about a NW45 in MAC. I have every palette Juvia’s place has come out with. No one else is putting out colors like this! This is such a gorgeous palette! A lot of shadow palettes I’ve purchased in the past some being high end, the colors does not show up on my skin. These colors are just vibrant! If you like vibrant this palette is for you! If you like more warm neutrals try the Nubian palette. If you like more cool tone’s try the Magic palette. Even her gel eyeliner is good. I just ordered a set of brushes and I like the brushes. This is one independent brand to watch! I hear through the grape vine Juvia’s is coming out with an all matte palette. Some of her mattes could be better but overall it’s the bomb.com. Juvia’s Place is doing great things!

This is a fabulous palette, with beautiful warm shades and amazingly pigmented colours. The mattes are very blendable and the colour range works very well for me (NW20). I can’t get too many variations from the mattes (warm to super warm is basically the range) but the quality of the shadows make it my go-to for warm looks. The pressed-pigment foiled shadows are really the standouts of this palette and they always give me lots of inspiration for looks. I can do work-appropriate looks, going-out looks and experimental looks from this palette.
It includes 4 matte shades – a red-pink, a burnt orange, a neutral mid-tone brown and a black shade.
The rest are shimmery and foiled shades. The shimmers are incredibly soft, not glittery shades that are very wearable – one nude beige and one nude-pinky-peach. The foiled shades are my favourites, they have full pigment with one swipe and have a foiled look without wetting them So you get 6 of these shades – a bright yellow-green gold, a deep red, a teal with a brown base (my fave!), a white-pink a bronze-gold and a magenta pink.

This is the 3rd Juvia’s Place palette review Ive done so far, and I am starting to feel like a broken record. While this may be so, every little happy feeling I have over these d@mn palettes has yet to sway away from “holly heck these colors are bomb!”
Like the Nubian 1 and Nubian 2 palettes, the Saharan is made up of some of the most pigmented, well performing shadows I have ever tried. Like the other JP palettes, here we have a repeat of 4 mattes and 8 metallics. And again, the pigmentation on these shadows are outrageous! The mattes are incredibly smooth and the shimmers are so buttery and opaque it’s unreal. I get zero fallout from these and no creasing or muddying of colors. If there was a con to anything about this palette, for me it’s the white shade (Iman) and the black shade (Chad), as I simply do not use these colors in my eye looks. Once again, the packaging is to die for.
This palette retail for $25 as of current, but there are TONS of discount codes out there, ranging btw 10-20%. While typically I am a “just say no to social media brands” kinda gal, JP is my exception. I cant wait to purchase more from this company.
