For a sulfate/SLS-free shampoo this actually cleanses my thick, oily roots hair surprisingly well. I use it 2 or 3 times a week along with the conditioner. Gives a nice menthol-tingle as I leave it on for about a couple of minutes, and the Tea Tree oil in here is at a low enough percentage not to irritate but actually soothe my mild psoriasis. I do find it slightly dries out my ends, but as soon as I’ve rinsed it out, I follow with the conditioner and all is well. A good clarifying shampoo at a very reasonable price (I picked it up for just under $7) and perfect for summer when there’s nothing better than cooling your head down after a long, hot day.

This is one of my favorite shampoos that I keep in rotation. I have moderate scalp psrioasis, so my skin is really flaky and inflamed. The tea tree oil in here is very refreshing and helps soothe my psrioasis flareups.
I have thick, coarse hair and while this shampoo doesn’t strip my hair I still need a good moisturizing conditioner. I love Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo, but I haven’t enjoyed any of the conditioners from this brand.
I’d definitely recommend this shampoo if you have a dry or sensitive scalp. The scent is refreshing as well.

I only wash my hair once a week so I double shampoo and this is one of the most refreshing shampoos I have ever used. There is sufficient foaming action to satisfy that need most of us have to believe the shampoo is working, without being overly sudsy if you know what I mean. The texture is quite thick which makes me think this is a concentrated formula and therefore you do not need a ton of product to shampoo your hair. In fact, once I’ve initially massaged this in, I add some water to help further distribute it throughout my hair. It removes a week’s worth of product (leave-in conditioner, curl cream, gel, hair oil) extremely well. Scalp and hair are left clean but not dry or stripped of moisture. I used to shampoo daily in my youth but over time have transitioned my scalp and hair to longer durations between shampooing. It helps that I have a wavy/curly hair pattern and my scalp does not get oily. Regardless of how often you wash your hair, this is a great shampoo for all hair types; does not affect those who color their hair, and it helps with dry, itchy scalps too. It is cruelty-free, vegan, and does not contain SLS, phthalates, etc.

A nice, sulphate free shampoo that clarifies well. Very refreshing on a hot day because of the tingly peppermint!

I picked this up on sale for $6.79 at Sprouts. I’ve been looking for a good clarifying sulfate free shampoo to rotate with my cowashing routine because I felt that, even though my hair is curly and prone to dryness, cowashing alone just wasn’t getting rid of the build-up of the plethora of leave-ins, oils and sprays I put into my hair daily.
I have never tried this brand before and purchased partially because the reviews are pretty favorable and it’s relatively inexpensive for an all-natural line. The packaging seems to catch a little flack on here but I’m actually partial to it- it looks pretty high-end and I had no trouble getting the shampoo out. The lid doesn’t snap shut too easily but hey, no biggie.
The smell is delightful for a shampoo- kind of a menthol and eucalyptus mash-up, very refreshing and only lasts till you wash it out. My scalp felt SO fresh, and the tingling was pleasant!! Hair was literally squeaky clean after, but not straw-like. It lathers and cleanses extremely well for a sulfate-free!
Although I only shampoo-wash about once every 8-10 days, with cowashes in between, I love using this and will continue to buy. It didn’t leave my hair parched but it cleaned it so well. Very impressive buy!

I didn’t like this shampoo and conditioner that much at all. The smell is great. Like being at a spa. So, A+ for that, but it completely stripped all of the moisture from my hair. I’m assuming the tea tree oil is the culprit (or the lack of sulfate and parabens), but even the conditioner didn’t restore the moisture. It didn’t have really good slip, and I’m just overall not impressed. Went back to using my Suave shampoo and conditioner and I’m much happier.

For the past year, I’ve been having horrible issues with my hair. There’s been this greasy/waxy clump of hair on the side of my head, and my scalp aches like no tomorrow. I’m pretty sure it’s some sort of dermatitis. I’ve tried every from pouring Listerine on my head to baby powder and tea tree oil and ACV, to prescription shampoo and nothing works for long, if at all. Giovanni’s Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo and conditioner works wonders. I could cry. I finally have my normal hair back and for a price that won’t break my bank. It smells lovely- like menthol, but not too strong, and both the shampoo and the conditioner cause a wonderful tingly sensation. Put it this way, I bought 50.00$ worth of the shampoo and conditioner the other day. I’m in love and so damn happy.

Its great. My hair comes out clean and silky and it has a pleasant tingly feeling on your scalp when you use it. Also feel healthy using it on my hair and scalp as it doesn’t have too many bad ingredients like some of the other shampoos out there. A little more money than I normally pay for shampoo, but worth it in my opinion. Love the way it smells too.

This shampoo is great on my oily scalp, I have a super oily scalp combined with the fact that I live in a area with hard water build up this is great! I love the tingle as well. Feels so good leaves my scalp healthy and clean and it goes for sale around 6 dollars at Walmart. Try it you won’t regret it!

My scalp is quite problematic. It gets quite oily very easily yet it has big, flakey dandruff as if it were chronically dry and itched all the time. This shampoo (as well as the conditioner) is the only product that has helped my scalp. After using it 2-3 times per week (I don’t wash my hair any more than that) for the last 6 months and my scalp has done a complete 180! No more itch or dandruff and it’s no where near as oily as it was. This product has reached holy grail status for me!! My only gripe is the price but I can deal with that for how lovely my scalp and hair feel now.
