My hunt for the perfect nude lip is finally over. Very creamy, glides on and looks smooth on the lips. I like how this isn’t so extremely pigmented, but not too sheer either so you’re able to build it up as you please. This nude colour is just absolutely perfect, a brown with just a touch of pink that I think would suit anyone.

This is the best lip pencil for mature ladies who need some definition around the mouth. It’s so realistic looking that no one would really know for the better if some “help” was needed. I would say the overall effect is kind of like a lip contour.
On me, it’s not very flattering, but that’s because I’m very golden toned. The shade is quite cool which is why I think it works a bit better on more Caucasian skin tones.
It’s luxe but hey, this is Charlotte Tilbury we are talking about. She makes good products and sells them for a premium price.

Looks like the people who received this product for free are already on Makeupalley. It’s probably produced in the same factory as Rimmel and Nyx, for a few cents.. But who cares right as long as it has a cool name on it. 😔 the performance isn’t any better than Rimmel or Nyx lol maybe in your mind. Just ridiculous what people are doing nowadays to receive some free crappy products.

Great lip pencil for a nude lip and probably worth the investment if you love that look! I also own the shade Pillow Talk (a pinkish color) and like it too but I am more fond of the Iconic Nude. The question you might ask is, “for the price, is it better than your typical drugstore lip pencil?” To be honest the Nyx pencils are good and the Rimmel as well but … there is a slip to this pencil and a tone to the color that stand out. Admittedly not one I’ll throw into the bottom of my purse and forget about (too expensive for that) BUT … certainly one that I will enjoy using!**ps – if anyone wants to send me a free one please… feel free! I bought mine on Beautylish.

2 lippies off for packaging because my lipcheats break off & require a special CT sharpener. Iconic Nude is my fave CT lipcheat. It reminds me of MAC Spice but it is cruelty free. Chanel makes the best lipliners & MAC is good too these are my top 3 MU brands in general lol Iconic Nude is very 90s retro it goes well with BPerfect. #winning !!!! This is slightly darker than MLBB. An awesome product but I hate sharpening it. Also if the tip is blunted it breaks off less than if it’s super sharp.

I debated a long time with myself if I should buy this, since I think lip liners are the easiest products to dupe and find good quality at affordable prices. I still think the same, but i really like this lip liner. It’s creamy enough to glide easily and allow you to overline, but it also sets after a while and is long wearing. The color is a light-medium brown that’s not too warm on my lips, but not cool either. I think this would work on many skin tones, I’m NC20, if you’re lighter than that, you will have to use a light hand. I don’t fill in my lips with it, would be a bit too 90’s for me, I just line wit it, blend it fast before it sets, add just a bit of Mac Stone on the Cupid’s bow and then use any nude lipstick/ lip balm on top and I have a natural nude-y lip I can wear with any makeup look.

This combined with “very victoria” makes the perfect nude lip for brown south Asian skin in my opinion. I love it, it really does last all day. In fact I find it on my lip the next day if I forget to wipe it off when removing my make up. I don’t tend to wear lippie because I have dry lips that always chap when using lipstick (I bloody hate Mac lipsticks????) but this feels lovely. It is still a little drying as its matte but that doesn’t bother me.

Iconic Nude is a cool-toned beige lip liner and it looks very natural on medium skin tones. It’s the lip liner I like to wear with Very Victoria, which is often described as a taupe nude. The shades are similar. Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat lip liners are long-wearing and the only other comparable lip liners I have are Urban Decay’s 24/7 glide-on lip pencils. My favorite of those is Ex-Girlfriend, which was introduced as part of their Gwen Stefani collection. (It’s also a nude shade, a bit pinker and warmer than Iconic Nude.)
I am fair with blonde hair and so for me, Charlotte’s Pillow Talk is a more flexible lip liner shade. It’s closer to my natural lip color and is a nude mix of pink/beige/peach that blends into my lip very naturally and looks amazing with all of the following Tilbury lip colors: Miss Kensington, B*tch Perfect, Penelope Pink, Confession, Stoned Rose, and Hepburn Honey.
For Between the Sheets lipstick, a soft warm Spring pink, I use Pink Venus (a soft coral) lip liner. Pink Venus looks great with B*tch Perfect also. It shifts that lipstick more peachy pink.
For those who thought MAC Spice was too orange, you’ll probably appreciate the cool tone of Iconic Nude. If you are extremely fair, you may find Iconic Nude too brown and in that case I would suggest Pillow Talk. If your skin has a golden undertone and Pillow Talk shows up too peachy for you, give Iconic Nude a try. It’s a matter of personal preference and finding the shades that best complement your skin tone.
For my skin tone, Pillow Talk is the most versatile, but I keep Iconic Nude handy because it’s the perfect liner for Very Victoria in the Matte Revolution lipstick formula, and it also works with MAC Velvet Teddy.

My new nude HG. Beautiful, soft but controllable, nice staying power. I love all of CT lipliners, but this one deserves a place of honour (together with pillow talk).
