This stuff is pretty useless. But to be fair, I’ve found that all the micellar waters I’ve tried are practically useless. This claims to remove waterproof makeup. What a lie! It doesn’t even remove regular makeup. My waterproof eyeliner and mascara weren’t even smudged by a cottonball doused with this stuff. I had to use oil to get my makeup off, then wash my face with soap. I did try this with rubbing alcohol, and that made a decent toner. I’m so glad I didn’t pay for this. A friend gave it to me. I guess she found it useless too.

First of all, I do not use this to remove makeup regularly. When I do use it for that purpose it seems to work ok but takes a bit. I do not use it for eye makeup though, as I used something different.
I mainly use this in the morning to wash my face, followed by Olay toner. I am not a morning person so I’m usually running late. It works great, is fast and easy. I follow up with a moisturizer and I’m ready to apply makeup and go. Very fast, easy, and convenient. The product does have a harsh scent though, however I go not find that it lingers. I also have not experienced any burning as other reviewers have. I also like that it states on the product that it will not clog pores. This is a statement Garnier is not willing to make. Having acne prone skin, that makes me nervous. It’s only been a few days that I’ve been using this, but no breakouts yet. I will continue this journey!

I finished the entire bottle of this and I can definitely say that it was worth the money. It takes off your eye makeup with ease and doesn’t leave any weird film or residue. I found this in the clearance area of Target, only paying $7 for it. I was shocked at how high they can be with their prices. The bottle lasted me a long time, and you won’t have to repurchase it for a good amount of time. Overall, I was very pleased and would buy it again if I needed to.

I grabbed this stuff since the store didn’t have my usual, and Neutrogena is generally a safe (and affordable!) bet when you’re as lizard-person dry as I am.
Big mistake.
While it did a good enough job of taking off my face makeup and eyeshadow, this stuff BURNED. It also didn’t stand up well against liner and mascara, so I had to continue to go over the eye area with it. My entire eye area, eyeballs included, was stinging and red by the time I got everything off.
It has a chemical scent right out of the bottle, and it felt like straight rubbing alcohol on my skin. There’s nothing gentle about it, really. If you have oily skin, it might do a good job as an astringent or toner that doubles as a basic makeup remover, but honestly I would just urge everyone to stay away from this stuff.

No, ineffective cleanser. If you want drugstore, Yes to coconuts, L’Oreal and Olay are much better at the same price point. Just too much rubbing, chemical smell, just doesn’t dissolve what it needs to.

I expected so much more from this, since I like Neutrogena products in general. The biggest disappointment about this product for me is how much it stings my eyes…since it is promoted (right on the packaging) as a cleanser for waterproof makeup, including waterproof mascara. Nope. This isn’t gentle, makes my eyes burn, and doesn’t even remove makeup well. It’s well-priced, I’ll give it that much, but there are many other options at the same drugstore price point. I’ve been on an on-going search for the perfect makeup remover, and this is far from it. Won’t re-purchase, and won’t even finish the bottle I have. Big thumbs down.
