A zinc-based combo (physical and chemical) sunscreen that I find comfortable to wear. Most make my skin itch and crack. This one goes on a little thick and white, but it soaks in and is mostly matte. It gets a little shiny as the day goes on, but not bad. I can wear makeup over it, but it is not perfect for that. The m/u drags over it a little. I like Blue Lizard sunscreen, but this has a higher SPF. I can reapply during the day and it is still comfortable and not an oil slick. Worth the price. Have repurchased already.

I suffer from acne and cystic acne and i have tried more than 15 sunscreen. Lancome, shiseido, murad, olay, aveeno, sun bum, elta md, skin medica, clarins, clinique, neutrogena, supargoop, and more. And all rither cause clogged pores and tiny bumps or developed cystic acne. This is the ONLY thing that works for me. It is hard to wash off so make sure u remove it with a micellar water first. My only complaint is that it does makr my face oily but i am extremely oily to begin with and i just blot it often. If u dust some loose powder ud be fine. I personally would rather have shine instead of cysts on my face. The price is also extremely reasonable. Love it , need to stock up

Awesome product. I was looking for a higher-quality sunscreen since all of the drugstore brands I tried would make me look greasy, redden my skin, or break me out.
I’m so glad I stumbled upon this stuff. I have very oily skin, and I’m not saying this keeps me completely matte, but I’m a lot less shiny than I used to be. I haven’t had a single breakout or outbreak of redness with this sunscreen, nor have I been burnt. If you use too much or don’t rub it in, you’ll get a little greasy, but if you use the right amount, you’ll stay beautiful and burn-free!

This is the first Jack Black product I’ve bought and is one of the best sunscreens I’ve tried. It has effective sunscreen filters that agree with my skin (zinc oxide, octinoxate, and octisalate), no fragrance, and a lightweight silicone base. This stuff just glides onto your skin and sinks in quickly without any white residue. As a guy I often go a few days without shaving. Even with a few days of stubble this still blends right in and no clumping or white residue on my face.
One caveat of wearing sunscreen on the face is the greasy or shiny cast that develops during the day. I had none of that using this. The finish was nice and matte all day. My face gets oily as the day goes on but did little to affect the finish. I do think that you need to use an oil cleanser to remove and the end of the day. I once tried washing my face twice with my usual cleanser (CeraVe Foaming) and don’t think I got all of it off.
Will also add that I wore this daily for a little over a week and had no breakouts at all. Probably because I do well with silicones.
Overall conclusion, a great everyday sunscreen with reliable protection (8% zinc oxide) and a terrific finish. Clearly this was made for men in mind, but there’s no reason women can’t use this.
