   Most tinted sunscreens are too dark and very ochre or orange colored; this KIEHL’S Mineral UV is definitely not in the that category!
   The color happens to be a perfect match for me, and I am finding that it looks more like natural skin than any of my current foundations, wow.
   I am approximately NC15 – hard to say when talking about undertones and overtones and all that – and this stuff is a great color for me. It reminds me of Korean-style BB creams (and those are sometimes too gray for me).
   The formula is thin and not sticky at all (one reason why I cannot stand Laura Mercier tinted SS)…
   It does leave a dry, slightly powdery finish. I don’t mind bc I feel it’s proof of a defensive barrier, and it is easy to wash off unlike other SS out there.
   One caveat is that this contains zero zinc oxide, it is all titanium dioxide as active sunscreen ingredient, so perhaps one should consider using a zinc SS powder over this.
   The packaging is fantastic, the product comes in a small bottle with a tiny nozzle.
   This might be the unicorn I was searching for. I wish it weren’t so costly!

   This has been a very welcome surprise! I was looking for a sunscreen for reapplication after working out at lunch, taking a shower and before returning to the office. I actually didn’t realize that it had a tint. It’s a strange putty color right out of the bottle, but provides a soft blurring effect on the skin (for reference I am pale AF). VERY dewey – and the effect lasts for hours. For the last couple of weeks I’ve been starting with the Kiehls Vit C serum, followed by the Daily Reviving Concentrate (which is great – surprisingly oily for a day time product, but very nice overall) and then this (obv allowing plenty of time for each product to sink in before applying the next), then a BB cream or foundation. Yesterday after applying this I decided to skip everything else -my skin looked really good without any more coverage! I got a couple of general compliments from co-workers about looking great out of the blue. This is expensive for the size, but really convenient and pampering, with solid sun protection. I’ll continue to buy Kiehl’s products at Black Friday sales or their other periodic sales (I got this one at a random 20% sale) which is the only way the cost approaches reasonable. I will say after amping up my skincare routing recently with quite a few Kiehl’s products, I am *extremely* pleased with my skin.

   One of the not very numerous sunscreens that I actually DON’T HATE.

   It is a very (and I mean VERY) liquid sunscreen but if you ever used ones like Anthelios Fluid from La Roche Posay for example, you’ll know how to work it – basically shake shake and shake some more.

   This one has an universal tint, very similar to any Asian sunscreens, slightly greyish beige which in case of darker skin tones might leave a pallid cast on your skin. For my light complexion with yellow undertones it actually spreads and blends in well and I cannot see the colour cast after it sinks in. Although initially it goes slightly pinkish-grey as I pile it on, then it kind of blends with my skin colour and any shine disappears leaving a delicate, almost satin veil.

   The base of the filter is a hellotta silicones, micronised titanium dioxide and some tiny amount of vitamin E. I don’t actually think the price is justified by these ingredients, it is a lot of money in UK (£36! for 50 ml in a cheap looking plastic packaging) but the pleasure of using this one in comparison with any other filter I’ve tried just blows the competition out of the water!

   It is a perfect urban filter, it is way too expensive to slather it on liberally when you’re on the beach but for everyday use, under a tiny bit of foundation (I use a mineral IT cosmetics atm but it looks well on its own too) in Scotland (= not much sun but still enough to make my melasma come out of hiding) it is perfect. There isn’t any fragrance or alcohol, and what is most important – I cannot feel my skin getting tight and uncomfortable at the end of the day which always happens with all chemical sunscreens.

   As with all the sunscreens, which are designed to stick to your skin, it is important to remove it well at the end of the day. I use Clinique Take the Day Off oil first and then follow with a mild foaming cleanser on a Foreo silicone brush. This way of cleansing keeps me out of any skin troubles, I think I remove it throughly and efficiently. It does not seem to gather in pores but it does gather in my laugh lines under my eyes, so I need to remember to pat it in gently from time to time. I don’t really need to blot this one too much either which is a a new thing for me, usually with sunscreens my skin goes haywire!

   I’m still on the fence with a constant use of a micronised titanium dioxide (and this formula contains a small amount of talc as well!) so I’m impatiently waiting for Drunk Elephant to arrive in UK and I will probably make a switch to their all natural sunscreen. Meanwhile, Kiehl’s is on and mineral sunscreens rule so I’m ticking in the ‘buy it again’ option.

   First off, If you tend to get oily you should avoid using this on top of a moisturizer. I did, and in the beginning I hated it, because it would stain on clothes and move around the face. When I began using it without applying a moisturizer first, I loved it! The ultra sheer “coverage” removes any signs of redness, and it feels invisible on the skin. You also only need a tiny amount to cover your entire face. The only con is the price…

   the first week using this product it heals some of my redness, didnt broke my skin.. but…. after a week millia or whitehead appears on my forhead, cheeks, chin.. whathappen i thought itis suitable for sensitive acne prone skin ????

   I really like this sunscreen. Although SPF is high, the texture is very light – more liquidy than creamy and very lightly tinted formula blends right into the skin (I am fair to medium w/yellow undertones). It feels like one of those Biore sunscreens from Korea – very light but still with phenomenal protection and has a very high level of physical sunscreens.

   If you’re looking for a lighter textured sunscreen, definitely try this. Can use this with or without additional make up.

   Would love if this cost a bit less but if I’m going to spend a lot more of money it might as well be on my sunscreen, retinal products and antioxidants.

   I LOVE this sunscreen! It is mineral based, so it’s ideal for more sensitive skin types, or if you are more combination/oily skin type. It is a very lightweight fluid, that has a slight tint. You may not like the tint if you are quite fair, but for me it blended it with my skintone. My skin feels nice and matte when I use this. The SPF is 50, which is great, I use it on top of my day moisturizer. There is no fragrance in this product either. It is a bit pricey, but I am happy with the performance of the product.

   I was surprised I didn’t see this reviewed here and wanted to make sure the ingredients and product was here. This is a tinted mineral ss, very fluid, as the name suggests. I am still testing it out to see if it breaks me out. I have oily combo acne prone skin that gets product related breakouts. Still trying to figure out my triggers. I am nc 15-20 and I think it is a pretty decent match. I seem to have an issue with zinc oxide so I wanted to test this one out. Will update.
   UPDATE 3/3 I tried this again yesterday on my forehead only which is an area that doesn’t usually break out and I got some small breakouts of irritation bumps. Sad cause I like the texture and feel of this.
