This has the same brush as the fiber extensions mascara by CG. That tiny fiber brush with only three rows of bristles spaced apart so mascara goops up in between on the brush…. Had I known, I’d never Have purchased this. I need volume as well as length and fiber bristles never work on my lashes. This clumped my lashes together because the lack of bristles to fan my lashes out, and the formula also dried really fast, so whatever clumped had to be separated with my eyelash brush. It does define and coat the lash, as well as lift the lash. Not many mascaras can keep a curl.
However, I used this two times and it went straight in the trash. If you like this kind of mascara wand, you’ll like this mascara. Just not for me.

This is truly the best mascara ever. The HG of mascaras. I’ve used this for about 4 years now, and don’t anticipate ever buying a different mascara (still in search of my HG foundation, concelear, blush, and eyeliner – lol).
I have used many mascaras over the years, both high and and low end. This beats them all. I frequently have people ask me what mascara I use, and if I have fake lashes on. I have turned several friends and family members on to this mascara.
Now, in terms of mascara, I’m all about length – I love long, fluttery lashes, and am not a fan of voluminous mascaras, as I think they tend to look far too clumpy. This mascara has a long, thin brush which is excellent for separating lashes. Also, a little goes a long way. In just a few swipes, my lashes practically reach my brow bone (I will admit my lashes are naturally pretty long, but this makes them appear much longer). I think it’s an ideal mascara for long and short-lashed ladies. I’ve also never experienced fallout with this mascara (as oppose to other mascaras, where I look in the mirror hours after applying only to see that I have raccoon eyes!) The price point is slightly high for drugstore mascara (about $11), but it truly is better than all high end mascaras I’ve used, so I’d say the value is fair.
Give this a try, and get ready for your friends to ask you how you get your lashes so long. 🙂

This is a great product. I usually use Loreal Voluminous mascara but this one has no clumps and adds a little length and looks so natural. Would purchase again

My FAVORITE mascara! I use this daily. I have tried other brands at many prices and this is always my fave, and so affordable! It really lengthens and does not clump. HG product!!

Holy lashes! Can’t believe I’ve passed this so many times at Target/the drugstore until I saw a mascara tutorial using this. I was a bit worried when I first opened the package considering how flimsy the brush is and how tiny the bristles are, but I really think the almost comb like texture makes it so great at really separating lashes and giving them lots of length. I haven’t had any issues smearing/flaking or smudging, except for realizing this doesn’t quite wash off like the rest of your makeup and exiting the shower with major raccoon eyes….perhaps not an issue with the product but rather how much mascara I personally wear – ha! I’d repurchase!

Very good mascara, doesn’t make eyelashes clumpy. However i have to apply the mascara with the applicator angled because if not, the mascara is applied a little weird. But that’s a very minor thing.
This mascara lasts all day for me and doesn’t smudge (even if I rub my eye).

It’s a hard maybe on this mascara for repurchasing.
My main thoughts: Blackest black is too black! I have really dark eyelashes and this just looked obnoxious on me.
2nd: It takes 3-4 weeks to dry out enough to be a good mascara for me. In the between I used my beloved HG: Glossier Lash Slick. Now that I’ve run out I’ve started using this.
Right now, with dry time, its wonderful at seperating the lashes. I wish the wand wasnt so flexible though. I feel a stiffer wand would make this a dream with a dryer formula. It really separated my lashes, but, where it was too flimsy I had to go back with a comb and separate the lashes.
Points for it: Doesnt smudge or flake on me and gives really long, mildly separated, lashes. Again, it’s a hard maybe on repurchasing.

This is my HG mascara! If you are looking for length and slightly thicker lashes, look no further. I do want to say I am a luxury brand junkie and have tried Chantacaille Clis Marc Jacobs O! As well as Big Lash by Benifit And they dont hold a candle to the performance, staying power and ease of application of This product. Considering the price point its a steal. I will forever have Telescopic in Carbon Black while i continue to hunt for something better. Its been 10 years and I havent found a better mascara

A little disappointed in this one. It looks great upon application, and very easy to apply. The problem with this is, there’s tons of fall out!

It does lengthen without bulk. But there isn’t a waterproof version, so it smudges. The little brush can get too much mascara on it, so you have to wipe it down every time. And since I found out L’Oreal isn’t cruelty-free, I’ve been looking for substitutes.
