Pinks can be difficult with my NC20-25 skintone, since a lot of them seem to be match cooler undertones best. Excitement is described as a “yellow” pink which is a rarity. I would certainly agree that among pinks this functions well with my cozy undertones. It is absolutely a girly pink but not up to the level of bubblegum pink. Type of semi-bold for daytime wear, I would certainly not use it at the office yet instead for a night out. The creemsheen formula has a substantial yet not also hefty sensation on the lips; it strikes the best equilibrium. It’s just slightly sticky which I do not find uninviting. It uses well and discolors with dignity. It’s not a go too shade for me, but I would certainly buy for periodic wear.

Possibly it’s since I usually don’t buy cremesheen formula but I have actually never ever had a MAC lipstick go so waxy as well as unpleasant to apply, after simply a year! I have more than a hundred lipsticks so it’s not unidentified for me to forget a lipstick for a year and afterwards utilize it. With MAC particularly, this has actually never been a concern. This lipstick is a boring fundamental b- color: it’s a girly pink however too pink to be a MLBB and not pink adequate to be a declaration. It’s a secure and also quite color and it looked good when I was redhead now I have blonde highlights so it does not look as excellent (on me).
Yet I can not forgive that the structure transformed. It had not been “remarkable” to start with yet it was fine. Currently it uses chalkily as well as makes my lips look dry. I had to throw it away and it had hardly been made use of. Fortunately it was a back to MAC yet that’s no alleviation as I might have obtained a matte or retro matte and also indeed they’re completely dry yet their appearance doesn’t all of a sudden transform! I presume if you purchase this ensure to utilize it rather quick (might not be a problem for “normal” individuals as well as of course probably extra a representation of my make-up overload).

A really rather girly pink shade. I am quite pale being an nc15 in mac structure shades so this shands out quite a great deal on my lips. Not normally huge on pinky girly shades yet this is a really rather shade as well as soft yet moisturizing formula on my lips. I still advise wearing with a balm (a lot more so with mattes) but with cremesheens you can typically escape skipping the cream. Extremely luscious as well as long putting on for a cremesheen.

Pinks can be tricky with my NC20-25 skintone, because most of them seem to be match cooler undertones best. Fanfare is described as a “yellow” pink which is a rarity. I would agree that among pinks this works well with my warm undertones. It is definitely a girly pink but not up to the level of bubblegum pink. Kind of semi-bold for daytime wear, I would not wear it at the office but rather for an evening out. The creemsheen formula has a substantial but not too heavy feeling on the lips; it strikes the right balance. It’s just slightly sticky which I do not find unappealing. It wears well and fades gracefully. It’s not a go too shade for me, but I would repurchase for occasional wear.

Maybe it’s because I normally don’t buy cremesheen formula but I’ve never had a MAC lipstick go so waxy and unpleasant to apply, after just a year! I have over a hundred lipsticks so it’s not unknown for me to forget about a lipstick for a year and then use it. With MAC especially, this has never been an issue. This lipstick is a boring basic b- shade: it’s a girly pink but too pink to be a MLBB and not pink enough to be a statement. It’s a safe and pretty shade and it looked good when I was brunette but now I have blonde highlights so it doesn’t look as good (on me).
But I cannot forgive that the texture changed. It wasn’t “amazing” to begin with but it was fine. Now it applies chalkily and makes my lips look dry. I had to throw it away and it had barely been used. Luckily it was a back to MAC but that’s no consolation as I could have got a matte or retro matte and yes they’re dry but their texture doesn’t suddenly change! I guess if you buy this make sure to use it pretty quick (might not be an issue for “normal” people and yes probably more a reflection of my makeup overload)

A very pretty girly pink shade. I am quite pale being an nc15 in mac foundation shades so this shands out quite a lot on my lips. Not usually big on pinky girly shades but this is a very pretty shade and soft yet moisturizing formula on my lips. I still recommend wearing with a balm (even more so with mattes) but with cremesheens you can normally get away with skipping the moisturizer. Very creamy and long wearing for a cremesheen.

I bought this shade as Joan Hollaway from Madmen wears it and she has very fair skin like me. For reference I also have dark blonde hair and grey eyes. My skin tone is neutral/warm.
This lipstick is perfect for everyday wear, it’s a few shades brighter than my actual lips (which are naturally quite pigmented). The creamsheen texture doesn’t make my lips look or feel dry which the matte shades tend to do.
I love the colour on me and I’ve tried a few Mac lipsticks to try find the perfect shade to suit me. My mum who has dark brown hair and a darker skin tone also looked nice with this lipstick and it seemed to look totally different on her!
Beautiful colour and I highly recommend it…wish it was cheaper but that’s MAC for you!

Nobody beats MAC’s lipsticks, especially for the price. This Cremesheen line is my favorite, because it gives me a perfect splash of color that is long lasting. I am NC15 in SFF, and Fanfare is a beautiful, everyday-type of pink for me. It applies evenly and smoothly, and one quick swipe on each lip deposits enough color to be done. Another MAC lip color winner!

I’m between fair and tan, it changes depending on the day, location, my mood (it’s weird, i know), but this colour seems to always just match me. Almost like it’s adjusting to me.
This is my first MAC lipstick, and I’m so lucky to have found the perfect colour for my skin. Will definitely repurchase.
I tend to have dry lips, so I’d usually apply lip balm -> sunscreen -> wait a while, then lipstick. It may not be the best idea nor it’s long lasting, but I’ll just re-apply it throughout the day if needed.

I got one Mac lipstick all my life and it was a gift. It was ok but a bit drying in my lips. Although Mac has a wide range of colours I never could find the right colour for me. My mom prefers bite lipstick from Sephora because of lasting power and it doesn’t dry out. Sorry. Mac has to improve formulation

I love lipstick – but not all colors love me. This is fresh, and a perfect shade for anyone. It’s lighter than it looks and goes from day to night easily. It’s like my own lips but brighter.
I was stuck on mehr and on hold by Mac, and stumbled on this one by accident when I was going to Mac for another tube of Mehr.
This is pinker than mehr , no brown tone, almost salmon pink.
It’s my new go to for an every day lipstick. Not garish. Not too bright . This lipstick somehow makes my entire face look better. Love it.

My everyday go-to lipstick. Perfect for work and all seasons. Doesn’t dry out my lips.
Ideal for light, warmer skin tones (I’m a NC15-20) but I’m tanned at the moment (NC30-35) and it looks superb. I will buy it again and it will continue to be one of my staples.

For reference, i’m nc 25. This is the unsung hero, almost unheard of pink mac lipsticks which i found by accident when trying to swatch bombshell at mac counter… I never heard this lipstick being discussed in beauty blogs previously, unlike other popular pinks like please me, angel, creme cup, chatterbox etc..i owned 10 MAC lipsticks and so far this is the lipstick that i used the most. It is the prettiest pink, a mid-tone salmon pink, not too pale, not too bright, just nice to add extra color to brighten up your face but still look natural and classy. Not only the color itself is so pretty, i love it because of its versatility, can be to worn day and night, with light or heavy make-up and looks good even under different lighting. I would say this is the perfect pink for fair to medium warm skintone and worth to give it a try..
