I was looking for a warm grey as a dupe for Urban Decay Mushroom, and found this. It is indeed a warm grey, but it’s different than Mushroom. While Mushroom is warm because it has shades of brown, to the point where it’s almost taupe, 444 is warm because of a gold frost overlay. The gold makes it look almost olive in certain lights. Overall, while it’s not a true dupe for Mushroom, 444 is a beautiful silvery, olivey grey that I regularly reach for.
The quality of Inglot eyeshadows is out of this world. Crazy pigmented, but super blendable and long-lasting. The value, both in terms of price and the amount of product, blows others out of the water. I intend to replace most of my eyeshadows with Inglot, since there’s no reason to have worse quality eyeshadows when this is available.

I’ve taken my time getting to this shadow as I was so in love with Inglot 422, which I got at the same time. This is a stunning slightly taupey grey with a flattering pearl sheen. For anyone looking for a dupe for MAC’s Smoke & Diamonds, Inglot 444 Pearl is what you want, except that this shadow is even better than the iconic Smoke & Diamonds. Don’t get me wrong – the Starflash finish is one of my favourites from MAC and I don’t know why they didn’t keep it around (ditto Mega Metal) and Smoke & Diamonds is one of my treasured shadows but 444 is even more richly pigmented when applied. The colour goes on so rich that there is no need to build it up to get it to show. The price of the Inglot shadows is excellent, texture, finish, pigmentation – everything about them is just first rate. Definitely would repurchase and highly recommend.

I am in love with ingot eye shadows! I have not been disappointed yet!
This color is a slightly pearly gray. Finally an eye shadow that is mostly matte with slight shimmer not too glittery or too much for day wear. This goes on smooth. When you buy these in the freedom system the prices going according to how many you buy. So a 5 color palette they came out to $5! that is drugstore proce for such great quality I instantly became hooked and can’t wait to get more! these are rich and super pigmented!

Nice cool taupey-gray shimmer. I was hoping for a major “wow,” but it’s about what I have experienced with NYX or Wet’n’Wild drugstore shadows. Just sorta okay. On a scale of 1-10, perhaps a 6. Upon receiving #444, honestly, I was a bit disappointed. In my grief and tears, I turned to MUA, and searched on the boards for the best taupes, I ended up at Sephora to buy NARS Ashes to Ashes and Stila Diamond Lil. Now that Ashes to Ashes is F-a-B-u-L-o-Us! Was it more expensive than #444? Well, yes. But it’s more cost effective to spend $18 on a single shadow than $68 for a palette that I don’t really bother with. I’m not hatin’, just not lovin’. Probably wouldn’t bother to order again.

Pearl 444 is a unique, gorgeous dark taupey mushroom grey/brown shimmer. It is divine as a liner or a crease color. This is probably my favorite Inglot shadow, it’s just the perfect unexpected neutral.
