Comes in a small tube, is easy on the pocketbook, and really delivers moisture to the eye area. Also, it never seems to irritate.
In fact, I ran out and bought this (always trusting the Neutrogena name; plus I loved their now DC eye cream (similarly in a tube) from a decade ago) after a high-end eye treatment irritated, reddened, puffed up and then started making the skin peel under my eyes.
I use the eye gel morning and night. On top, by day, I apply either Dermalogica eye cream with SPF 15 or Clé de Peau Beauté with SPF 25 (I have the stick and the liquid brush-pencil versions of this) for sun protection. Both of these latter products cover and illuminate nicely, too.
This to say that the Neutrogena eye gel plays well with other products — no pilling and sliding.

I was using the ordinary, and it’s drying my skin, especially under my eyes, when I am applying makeup. I bought this cream, and everything looks smooth again. I love it, and it’s working immediately!

I have dry skin and I needed a cheap eye cream and I came across this one. A friend recommended it. And I love it, it hydrates the skin during the day. I have to reapply it a couple of times but it’s suitable for my little purse so I don’t mind. It works!

The neutrogena hydroboost eye cream is a very affordable eye cream. it does a pretty good job, i have sensitive skin and it didn’t irritate my skin. Only drawback is that I have to reapply it during the day.

I love this! It has made a noticeable improvement in the crepey under eye skin that I have. Nothing I have ever tried has even come close to this on my skin. I tried retinol but it burned and dried out my skin. But this one soothes and smooths! It’s no miracle worker, but still truly the best drug store eye cream I’ve used. Cost me about $14 for 0.5 oz. I noticed a difference the first day of use. I have used it twice a day for a week and a half have not had any irritation from it. I am 51 and very happy that I finally found something that helps minimize the crepiness under my eyes, it’s my biggest skin problem.

I read wonderful things about this eye cream, but it didn’t work for me. Maybe for someone in their 20s it would do its trick, but my slowly aging, 30-something year old skin needs more moisturizing power than this can actually provide. Will keep on using but would not repurchase

I’ve used the Hydroboost body lotion, which I really like this however I’m not convinced about this product. On a number of occasions I’ve felt my skin slightly stinging after using it. I don’t have sensitive skin & it has no discernible fragrance but there must be an irritant present in it to cause a reaction. I can’t say that I see my skin looks moisturised after using this – which I can after using the body lotion. Not one I would buy again

Irritated my eyes a lot!
Used for 2 days and holy smokes, it did a lot of damage in a short time. The outside corners of my eyes became pink, puffy, raw, sting-y and itchy – almost like I had hives. Once the skin “dried” it felt rough and grainy.
I expected that an eye cream would leave the skin moisturized and fresh.
This did the complete opposite, to my dismay.
$14 I’m sorry I spent. :-/

Does what it claims, hydrates under the eyes and is suitable for sensitive skin.

Nice sanitary tube, pretty blue packaging, hyaluronic acid, non-greasy, gel-cream texture, what more could I ask for? I could ask that the price was not so high for a drugstore product, but all drugstore products are getting higher priced these days so that’s kind of irrelevant. What I would really ask for in this product is that they could have made it non-irritating. I could have sworn this was irritating my eyes and making them look a bit red and puffy on the days when I used it. Definitely not what I want my eye gel to do, in fact that’s just the opposite of what I desire from any eye gel. It’s too bad, because I loved everything else about it. Will not buy again.
