Cute product, appealing color, yummy scent, but does it actually do anything? Not for me, or better said not as I would expect from a $69+tax a.k.a about $75 product! Granted, it doesn’t do anything bad either, it doesn’t upset my skin in any way, but I can achieve the exact same look with any other much cheaper primer or moisturizer.
Luckily I only bought the mini size, so I will use it up, because had I bought the full size it would have gone back.
I would maybe recommend it if it was half the price, but it is absolutely not worth splurging on when there are so many other products out there that perform the same or better, at a fraction of the cost.

This is my holy grail primer. I’ve been using it for about two years and it’s life changing lol. Nothing else has ever made my foundation look so flawless and great. The smell is nice the color is nice and the dropper packaging is easy to use. It dries quick and keeps my foundation looking great all day. Can’t say enough good things. This is one of their best products.

This was an impulse buy from Sephora for me too. I just looked at the bottle and fell in love with the packaging. I only got the small travel size and quite frankly don’t know whether I will purchase the full size, not because I don’t like it, but because there are so many similar and new products coming out every week.
I’m not a makeup person. I look after my skin but apart from sunscreen and tinted lip balm, I don’t use anything else. So that said, using it as a last step after cleanser, glycolic acid toner or P50 and Hada Labo toner / essence, it makes my skin look very even and clear. I’ve never tried using any sort of foundation over it, so I can’t comment on how other products layer on top of it.
This is a yes from me. Will re-purchase if there’s nothing else that’s new and I’d like to try.

I bought this on a whim from Sephora in the small travel-size bottle. I really hate “Instagram famous” products because most of the time, they’re overpriced garbage being peddled to the dumb, but the woman at Sephora insisted I try it. I’ve been using Laura Mercier and Benefit PoreFessional for years as primers and while I was never “wowed” by them, they work and are a good price for the size you get.
This actually seems to be worth it. It really did help hide the larger pores I have going on around my nose area and made the makeup apply in a more even fashion (even with the Laura Mercier I sometimes notice the primer has the tendency to “ball up”). I find the Farsali Gold Elixer to be a total scam, but this one actually seem to be worth it. I will repurchase the larger bottle size once the smaller one runs out. I use this underneath my BB cream from IT cosmetics and it makes me have quite the smooth and youthful glow.

i really love this product! it smoothes out your skin giving you that airbrushed look when you apply foundation. it can also be used as a lip primer to give you soft lips instantly. i have the mini size, and when i ran out ill get the full size one which at first thought was “overpriced for a serum” but it’s definitely worth it. i quite like the packaging too, actually it was the main reason i bought it

I love this product!!! I bought it last christmas after seeing it used on instagram and receiving some sephora gift cards for christmas. It smells so nice and has subtle sparkles in it, making you glow! I used it as a primer and it makes foundation application flawless. Waiting on my second bottle in the mail!

Whim purchase at Sephora in early spring… used it throughout the spring summer months and am impressed with this product! I have no idea what it is? Classified as a primer but the word essence is in its title?… Regardless I apply it atop of my moisturizer as opposed to under as I would with an ‘essence’ and the end result, after make up, leaves my skin glowing from within- youthful heathy skin appearance, I can see it’s effects as a primer as make up works well on top of it and just gives it a smooth blurring effect to ploblem areas. Takes your make up game to another level. The scent is delectable, smells like cake? ( the scent can linger through the day although subtle, for me it’s tolerable). It is applied/with the (glass) dropper that comes with the bottle. The product appearance-pinkish pearl with iridescence almost viscous fluid which dispenses easily. The name Unicorn Essence would have me pass on this but I’m glad I took a chance- money well spent! Defin will repurchase, once done with this bottle. Strongly recommend!

This product is lovely. I bought it simply because it’s pretty & I thought it would look nice in my make up kit. But I actually really like it. It smells amazing & really helps stop my concealer from creasing and makes my skin nice and glowy. I use it in conjunction with benefit porefessional primer & they work great together. I will re purchase.

This is definitely my favorite serum. As someone with dry skin, it makes my skin feel hydrated and glowy, not to mention it smells absolutely amazing. I haven’t noticed any changes in my skin’s appearance, but I have been using it for less than a month so that may change. I use about 3-4 drops morning and night but have had to start cutting back to using it once a day because I don’t want it to run out so quickly! Although it says you can use this product as a primer, I would personally recommend it more for a serum just because I’ve worn it under makeup once and it only helped a touch by making me appear a little more glowy. Besides the high price, this serum is absolutely perfect.

I have a combo skin. Whenever I wear makeup, i find that the makeup sinks into my pores and scars and i totally hate that until one day I met this essence. For me this thing is god send! I dont know what was in the formula but it makes my face looks dewy but not oily. My makeup sits well all day and my friends was like WOW YOU LOOK GLOWY TODAY! It made my day! This thing is worth the hype!
