These are the sheerest, least pigmented mineral shadows that I have ever used. I first thought it might have been the buff shade I was using, but even the darker shades have minimal color payoff despite packing the shadow on with a flat brush. If you want any chance of color appearing on your lids, a primer is a must. Even then, prepared to use a LOT of it.
The container leaves a lot to be desired too. I like that it has a rotating lid to keep the contents in. However, instead of a softer lid with small holes to control the amount of product released, the opening is large, making it hard to control how much product is dispensed…and subsequently very easy to over pour. But considering that you’ll need to use a lot of product to get any color payoff, perhaps this was intentional on their part?
