   SO disappointed. This has a great color, but it FLAKES like crazy. Looks great for about 2 hours. Then, the flaking begins.

   This was my very first Estee Lauder Macara. Normally, I always look at before purchasing anything, but I was in the Duty Free shop at the airport and decided to pick up something new. Well, big mistake!

   This mascara has got to be the worst macara I have ever used! It makes my lashes look like spider legs and also clumps them together so that I end up looking like I have only 3 clumpy disgusting looking lashes. I tried every possible application method. I tried to wipe off extra product on a tissue before using the mascara.

   I also gave this to my friend to try out, who has naturally beautiful long and curled lashes and it made her lashes look horrible too.

   Stay away from this awful product and buy the Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme mascara instead. It’s much better for a fraction of the price.

   If I could, this would get a negative score (or at best a 0 score). This mascara is crap, worst ever! When applying, you are left with ‘needle’ lashes. Throughout the day, the mascara comes of in flakes (nice for waterproof). This is the very last EL mascara I bought, they are all the same (and I have tried many, or maybe even all, EL mascara’s – how stupid can one be): turning lashes into needles, giving an unnatural look, smudging through the day (whether waterproof or not).

   I finally gave up my mediocre drug store mascara for something that might add some significant volume to my lashes. The mascara I was using ended up on the crease of my eye lid by the end of the day so i asked for someting that wouldn’t smudge. This mascara was kind of difficult to apply. If you aren’t careful it can be very clumpy. However, it did add a significant amount of volume. I loved the way it looked. It didn’t smudge onto my eye lid but it did manage to get under my a little by the end of the day. It was also difficult to remove. I used eye make up remover and still had to scrub under my eye with cleanser etc. The third day I went to apply it I noticed that there were very few lashes to put it on. The lashes in the outer corner of my eye were completely gone! The lower lashes were scarce on both eyes. The top lashes also thinned out. I hadn’t realized that the lashes were coming out. They just seemed to suddenly be gone. I took it back and was told that I just needed to avoid the water proof formula. I got the regular formula and had it irritated my eyes badly. Not only will I never use Estee Lauder again, I’m terrified to try another mascara.

   The Summer 2015 mascara from Estee Lauder that was featured along with it’s Bronze Goddess collection. My lash profile: short-average length, average thickness, super stick straight/slant a bit downwards, very stubborn and will not hold a curl for anything.

   The wand is a very large traditional spoolie. The formula is goopy and thick . It cakes up on the wand and the wand picks up way too much product. I first curl my lashes(always, must) and then apply this. It does not do much for length, it does however thicken them up significantly, but MAJOR clumping. Comb/ separating some of my clumped lashes is needed after every application because this clumps so easily. Using this mascara is so messy because of the thick/goopy formula+large size I always need to clean up. Very deep black color. Very heavy feeling. Holds a curl, what’s left after the goopy mess. Stays all day, no smudging, no flaking, I even went swimming with this…it wears like IRON. Comes in a beautiful EsteeLauder silver-blue, gold and shiny packaging. More expensive than a drugstore mascara.

   Would I buy again? No. I cannot imagine who would like Clumpy lashes that are hard to get off. Yikes.
