I loved the concept of this foundation, but after trying it for a week I’m going to return it. I’ve been on a hunt for the perfect moisturizing/smoothing foundation for my dry winter skin. The Born to Glow foundation claims to be radiant but looked demi-matte on me, and it just…didn’t look smooth. I’m a foundation junkie without any major texture. So when foundations bunch up on me, I’m pretty sure it’s not a problem with application or skin prep. Definitely disappointed. Pros: NYX’s usual bomb shade range, lasts well, feels comfortable, has medium coverage, and spreads easily. Cons: catches on dry patches, looks dry and cakey by end of day.
Even though this didn’t work for me, I think it’s worth a shot if you have normal to oily skin (without dry patches or texture), or if you often have trouble finding a shade match at the drugstore.

Let me preface this by saying I do have an oily t zone, so of course this very dewy foundation isn’t perfectly suited to my skin.
I do like it despite my oily forehead! The foundation looks very natural and glowy, gorgeous on my cheeks and even my nose which is also oily but gets some dry skin on the sides.
It’s a bit of a hassle to put a different foundation on my forehead than the rest of my face, even using a matte concealer and powdering my forehead didn’t stop the glowyness of this foundation from turning my head to a disco ball lol but it melts so nicely with my blush/highlight that I will continue to use it 🙂
