I love this conditioner I can either leave it in or rinse out.I usually use it as a leave in &it makes my hair soft&beautiful. Also I stopped using hair styling products because this conditioner works as a smoothing cream&I don’t have any frizzy hair.&I Put some in a little plastic bottle for traveling. Its 1 great product that works as 2-3 hair products love it ❤

I’m old enough to have been a Clairol “Long & Silky” fangirl, and I remember one of the great benefits of that product was that, just as advertised, it made split ends appear to be “mended” and your hair looked like it had just been cut. (Google the product’s old ads — it’s mentioned in most of them.)
They changed the L&S formula in the late 70s and most of us switched to Agree or other mass market products targeted to young women. I have looked periodically for a similar product ever since, but it’s been difficult since there were no ingredients on the L&S bottle (or I don’t remember them, anyway).
Well, this is the stuff. If it’s not the same formula as Long & Silky, it’s close enough for me — it does exactly the same thing. I’m delighted.
I wish the fragrance was the same — L&S had a clean, balsamic/herbal smell and this is more like today’s vanilla fruity scents — but at this price point and with this great performance, I can’t complain. The performance is likely due to a number of silicone-based ingredients, but I don’t mind silicone in my conditioner as it’s the only thing that can tame my frizzies.
Would recommend this for anyone trying to get their hair to grow — it eliminates tangles and breakage almost completely, even after the hair dries. I thought it would weigh my fine, thin hair down, but it doesn’t — just smooths it out.

Much like the shampoo, I found this to be a pretty average conditioner. I didn’t like the scent of it (it smelt like cheap soap), although the consistency of it was very smooth which made it easy to get out of the bottle. My main concern with this product though is whilst using it alongside the shampoo, I noticed my hair falling out a lot more than normal. Obviously I can’t say for certain that it was this and the shampoo that caused the increased fallout, but within a few weeks of not using this and moving back to a shampoo/conditioner I’ve used many times before, it went back to normal levels. And my hair actually felt in better condition when I stopped using this too. Definitely won’t be a repurchase for me, despite the rave reviews almost everywhere online.

I used this conditioner years ago back in my relaxer stretching days along with the shampoo of the same line. Back then I had half kinky 4c new growth and half relaxed hair. Has a very fresh n clean smell to it like the shampoo so if fragrances bother you or you just dont want them this may not be for you. A little runnier than the average conditioner but not so much you cant get it through the hair easily. Price was about the same as the shampoo back when I used to buy it. It also comes in thr same sized bottle so you do get quite a bit for the value. It was a good followup to the shampoo and does a good job of putting some moisture back into the hair. Just not as much as my favorite main conditioner or budgrt conditiner. I wouldn’t buy this again but it was bad. Not blow me away either but I had no bad effects on my hair skin or scalp. And for anyone thinking of buying this to increase hair growth don’t bother. I had to learn than a shampoo or conditioner doesn’t grow your hair and this stuff is no different. Just stick to healhy hair habits!

Conditions really well in the shower as a rinse out and as a leave in. I’ve noticed less hair fall since I started using this along with the shampoo and the smell is a little stronger than the shampoo but it’s still nice and I don’t notice it lingering so it’s not overpowering. My hair looks and feels healthier and more moisturized since I started using this which helps since I’m growing my hair out. If anyone is wondering if this stuff is worth it don’t wonder anymore it definitely is.

Hey y’all I bought this product seeing it in an ad thinking it would be fun to try something new but I was mistaken. The shampoo alone left my hair very dry but when combined with the conditioner it left some sort of residue that coated my hair even though I washed it out very well. It is a cheaper conditioner which is nice but even so there are better ones out there for the same price. The shampoo isn’t a total loss and might be useful for someone with oily hair but it was too much for my dry hair but I would not recomend the conditioner to anyone, it leaves hair looking unclean and feeling like it too. Sorry for the negative rating but I hope this was helpful. ????

I tried this in high school after my long-haired friend told me about it. At that time this product peaked in popularity – literally all over Youtube and every beauty blog with girls claiming it’s the reason for their length-waist strong hair. Logically my sister and I asked our mother to buy it even though we had several years worth of Pantene/Garnier in the shower.
I still remember the distinct “earthy” smell of this. Overall this never felt as lathery as my usual Garnier and Pantene conditioners. It wasn’t that drying but it definitely could have been more moisturizing. I ended up using 2/3 of the bottle before going back to my drugstore favorites. Overall “meh” – not awful just not life-changing.
I’m curious to know how this product got so popular online (maybe just PR?) but overall nothing ventured nothing gained.

WILL CAUSE HAIR TO FALL OUT! Today- after a steady year of using this shampoo and on and off use over the past 3 years, I found out why my hair had been “shedding” so horribly. Let me first start off by saying how much I initially loved this shampoo- especially the scent. I liked how light and non-oily it made my hair and would get compliments on how good my hair smelled on a regular basis. However, I didn’t realize that the product I loved so much was the culprit for the hair loss I have been experiencing. (I’d also like to mention that I just recently had blood work done due to switching primary care physicians and everything came back normal and healthy just to rule out any health problems being the possible cause). I was just casually searching Amazon to see if Clear shampoo would be cheaper and scrolled down to the reviews and was completely appalled. Everything I have been experiencing was written in hundreds upon hundreds of reviews- hair loss caused by this shampoo! I have huge clumps of hair coming out in the shower, huge clumps when I get out and comb my hair, significant amounts of hair on the floor when I style my hair, and my house floors, carpets, and car are covered in my shedding hair. Part of my daily routine when I get out of the shower is to brush my hair by the toilet so that I can empty my brush and the falling hairs into the toilet to avoid them from falling all over the floor- it’s that bad! I am SO upset by this that I have made an account on here to post my review upon all of these others to try and spread the word- Do not walk, RUN AWAY from these products- they are absolutely terrible and you will eventually notice hair loss. And I want to specify that I was using the Total Care the most but also tried the Damage and Color Repair, Strong Lengths, and Intense Hydration. They’re all equally damaging and will all result in the same. Hope this helps!

My review is for the Clear scalp & hair therapy total care shampoo and Clear scalp & hair therapy total care daily conditioner. As I’m always using a combo of shampoo and conditioner from the same line and same brand, I’m always doing the review for both at the same time. I got 2x 50 ml bottle (1 shampoo, 1 conditioner) in a 5$ travel sample pack from Walmart.
I usually use higher brands for shampoo. I have colored hair with dry ends, and as I’m trying to grow my natural color, the scalp get greasy because it’s not colored. This shampoo and conditioner combo is great. The shampoo is really a weird texture, kind of fluffy instead of a silky lotion. I like it. It smells great, lather well and it’s easy to lather everywhere on my hair, which is usually hard because my hair is long to my butt. My hair are left clean without being squeaky clean.
The conditioner is really soft, and my hair are left super super soft in the shower after using it.
The packaging is great, I love the color. The smell is good also, a soft smell that doesn’t linger once the hair are dry.
When I dry my hair, they are super soft and puffy, and super light! I don’t even need to use a straightener most of the time. It’s a really good product for the price.
I’ll update eventually as I bought 2 big bottle of it, but for now I like it. I just hope that my scalp wont get greasy after using this for a while.
UPDATE on 2015-10-19:
After using those sample size, I liked this product enough to get the full size of shampoo and conditioner. I’m knocking 2 lippies (putting it to 2 lippies) because I find that the moisturizer is really coating, and my back feel super greasy and hard to rinse when I use it. I’m also loosing a lot of hair and have a lot of breakage right now so I’m thinking this might be the culprit. However, I’m not 100% sure about that, but seeing a lot of review saying the same thing, and experiencing a lot of breakage and loss, I’m kinda worried.

I purchased this in the Length and Strength variety. I really liked it the first week or two, but then it made my scalp oily but gave it dandruff at the same time. I’m FINALLY out of it and am using my dad’s shampoo until I remember to buy a new bottle. My hair looks and feels so much better now that I’ve finished the bottle.

This is a horrible conditioner. I have oily hair and when I skip a day of washing, I am usually uncomfortable–my scalp is itchy and sore from the oil build up. However, it was much worse the day after using this. My hair was oilier than I’ve ever experienced, and it became just a large oily clump and my scalp burned. It was so bad that I showered at the crack of dawn even though I didn’t have anywhere to go.

I bought the Nourishing daily conditioner against my better judgement. I only tried the conditioner, not the shampoo because I have had issues w/shampoos that are loaded with silicones in the past. They cause major hair fall out for me so I figured the conditioner should be okay since I don’t put any on my scalp. Just an FYI, I have been avoiding silicone hair products for a while because I felt they were causing more problems for me than fixing. Silicone products give that beautiful shiny sheen to hair but I kept struggling with buid up and breakage from too many cone products. I do clarify 1x a week but the build up was way too fast and I didn’t want to keep clarifying and dry out my hair. But I do miss the shine I get from cone products so I started using this. I started getting hair fall out almost immediately. My hair became really tangly which is strange for a silicone based conditioner. It became tangly and when I would run my fingers through it to detangle throughout the day, a lot of hair would come off on my fingers. I started getting more and more split ends and a LOT of static. I think this product just has way too many cones in it for me, I can deal with some cones but this is too much. My hair felt really coated and stiff, if that makes any sense. Will definitely not repurchase.

This conditioner leaves my hair very very soft and silky. It can easily rival the high-end salon conditioners!

** Clear Scalp Therapy Conditioner – Moisturizing Dry Scalp Version **
Loveeee it 🙂 When paired with the shampoo it leaves my hair absolutely perfect! Soft, Fizzless, No tangles, Natural degree of volume, Silky!
My favorite shampoo and conditioner combo is from the Alterna Caviar line which is about $60. The clean combo I’m reviewing doesn’t hit it out of the water the way Alterna does but it sure comes closer than any other combo (high end or drugstore) that I have EVER tried. @ 7$ a bottle I’ll take it! No complaints!
It has given me beautiful, soft air dryed hair every single time!
Can’t stop playing with my hair! 🙂
For reference I have super long, thick, wavy, dark brown hair. My longest layer falls 3/4 down my entire back.

Made my hair both oily and dry/straw-like at the same time. This (in combo with the shampoo) made my roots feel gunky and my ends feel like straw. Would not recommend.
chicDinosaur5
This made my shiny healthy hair, dull and dry like straw (in combination with the shampoo) I usually have to cut the ends because my hair grows to long, now I have to cut the ends because they are damaged and dried out! Would not recommend this at all!

I can’t believe people are still using this product. I rode hunters for 35+ yrs and would not use this on them, much less my own hair. I did use this product a couple of times 30 yrs ago on my horse’s tails and it was awful on them, made their tail hair tacky and straw like, something I never forgot. There were better products for my horses, even back then. As the years went by more products came out, and one, called Cowboy Magic, came out. We all went wild over it for our horses, and then people started using it on their own hair (shudders). I refuse to use anything on my hair that was developed for horses for the simple reason that a horses hair is generally not anywhere near the texture that human hair is, I don’t care how coarse your hair is, and my hair is thick and coarse.

I got a sample of the Total Care Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner. The concept of this is smart so I was hoping for a drugstore hair product that it would be different. On first use my hair was left soft and shiny. Second use it felt a little heavy and weighed down. It also became greasy much quicker then normal. The third use I completely hated this. My hair is so weighed down, has a film like feel to it and is already greasy in less then 18 hours of washing it. I am not really fond of the scent. It is nothing specific, but it smells like another drugstore product. Not impressed and would not recommend.

I love the nourishing daily care shampoo and conditioner. My hair looks so healthy. But I will be reviewing the conditioner with Shea butter on this one. It comes in a gold bottle. I used this with the nourishing daily care shampoo. I think I applied too much because my curls were weighed down. My hair dried nice and soft but I didn’t like that my hair was less voluminous. I will conserve this for when my hair is drier and will use less as it was very moisturizing. Thicker hair types might appreciate this more. Has a lovely smell too.

I have the shampoo/conditioner in the color therapy formula and love it:I have a lot of hair issues including frizziness, breakage, tangles easily and most stuff makes my scalp itch. This covered all the bases and I highly recommend it:)
