I used Kiehl’s ultra facial cream and it did wonders for my acne scars and my dry skin. My skin has been glowing since I started using this. I use it twice daily. It’s my holy grail!

For years I steered away from this , even when free samples were given as I felt it might be too rich . Recently I tried a sample . My skin is now more dehydrated . Was quite pleased by the texture and the way it moisturised my skin. The texture is a mix of my fav Clinique mask just more creamy. Although sample was small , skin was well moisturised

Been using Cervae Skin Renewing night cream, a moisturizer in a jar for years now and have been very happy with it. I saw this Kiehls product at TJ Maxx and snatched it up because it’s a more expensive product, it must be better right?
It’s not as moisturizing despite its name of ultra rich. It’s fragrance free or very light so that’s good. I wouldn’t say it’s a cream so I don’t see why this isn’t in a squeeze tube.
Ultimately this broke me out. Every time I used it, I would get breakouts. Stopped using it and no more breakouts. Unfornately I have breakout scars and marks to deal with.
I’ve been using it as a hand cream. Oh well. Never straying from what works and doesn’t break me out!

I decided treat my dehydrated skin to a higher end face cream, and this was what I landed on after trying a sample a year or so earlier. I paid $98nzd. very expensive to part with upfront, but i thought for the amount of product you get, it probably works out reasonably priced overall. When it arrived i was so excited to open my parcel and get my hands on it. I was so disappointed when i realized the packaging resembled the likes of fatty cream or prescription cream from the pharmacy. I opened it up, and the product also looked and smelt like generic pharmacy prescribed creams. I was certain i had made a mistake buying it. I was SO wrong, it delivers!! It applies very thick, so you seriously dont need a lot. It doesnt take long to sink in, and it leaves a nice glow. My skin is dull and dehydrated (i need to start drinking water haha), this cream fixes that! It leaves my skin almost plump looking, and super hydrated. My make up also applies really well on top of this cream once it has settled in. It’s winter here, and this stuff has not only kept my skin happy, but my lips too. Its a keeper and i wont be shopping around anymore, its the one for me!! Not sure how it would go for oily skin types, but for normal/dry it really works. Never judge a book by the cover they say 😉

For dehydrated skin types this is actually not bad at all. As a person with oily/combination but dehydrated skin I can only use this during winter when central heating and cooler air outdoors ensures my skin is at its driest, and last winter I managed to go through a whole jar of this. It’s a non-fragranced gel-cream texture moisturizer which is slightly on the heavy side but sinks in pretty much straight away. What it did do over the course of the time I was using it was to give my skin a much needed boost of hydration which by approximately month 3 seemed to reduce the fine lines on my forehead and make my skin look plumper. I didn’t find the need to use twice a day as instructed, for me just once on a night time was sufficient. I could use any lightweight moisturizer the next morning and find this combination perfect at keeping the flakies away. There are a lot of vegetable oils and humectants in here so for someone with oily skin that isn’t dehydrated this is probably going to sit atop your skin and end up looking greasy. Definitely suited to drier skin types generally. Slight gripe is the jar packaging – not very sanitary and very basic looking, which for this price range I’d expect something more eye-catching instead of a plain white plastic tub.

Wow! I have to say that I am really impressed by the cream, usually, I don’t buy hyped stuff, but this cream moisturizes me very well over the day. I can wear it while having makeup on and it has no fragrance although it still smells like I would go to a hospital similar to the “Ordinary Moisturizer”. There are way cheaper options (Nivea, Weleda…) but it is excellent! Can’t say any negative things about it. Well, probably the price, it isn’t cheap!

My daughter and son in law bought me some Kiehl’s products for Mothers Day but as I already had full bottles of 2 of the items, I exchanged them for the Ultra Facial Cream, which I understand is one of their best sellers. Generally, I like Kiehl’s products well enough, though I think some don’t really live up to the airy-fairy promises the company makes. This face cream, however, is lovely. It doesn’t contain a bunch of nebulous “wonder ingredients” or make outrageous claims. It’s also not outrageously priced! It seems to be a nice, fairly simply moisturizer that does its job, works well over my facial oil and under my foundation or tinted sunscreen. It’s packed in a very low tech jar which I like because I can get every last trace of product I’ve paid for. I’ve only had this for 2 weeks but have enjoyed using it and will certainly repurchase if things continue as nicely as they have so far.

Received a generous sample to try. The product made my skin burn upon application, which got worse the more days I used it. Also made my skin drier, and more reactiv.
Do not recommend!
