I am a sucker for trying mini eyeshadow palettes from Western brands that are not available in my country. While I would never drop big bucks on those big palettes from this brand, I was curious to experience it without making a commitment. And let’s be honest, how many of us really end up using those big palettes on a daily basis? 100 bucks for an eyeshadow is just too much for me. The mini nude is nice, but not great, imo. The colors lean a bit warm, but they are a good medley of copper, gold bronzes in matte and metallic finishes. If you want an easy to carry, all purpose palette that is great for the day time and evening, this fits the bill. You have everything you need in one package: a crease color, great metallic toppers and a dark matte brown for lining. The thing is, I much prefer my Viseart Cashmere Theory for a neutral look. The one thing that Natasha Denona does better than my Viseart is the lack of fallout: although the quality of the Viseart Cashmere Theory shadows are much better, imo, I have to do my eye look before my base because of the fallout. I just wish the Mini Nude palette was just a tiny bit cooler, because I already have so many warm mini palettes.

This palette is small but mighty! Includes 5 shades that I don’t really consider nudes but they are very wearable. I appreciate how neat, compact and lightweight the packaging is without feeling flimsy. Also the price is 25€ for five shades which is unheard of Natasha Denona. Granted, the pans are small – 0.8gr each – but they pack such a punch you need hardly any and frankly when was the last time you completely finished an eyeshadow?
On to the shades now they follow the fashionable warm/bronze/golden theme.
– Bronzage is a warm copper mettalic shade
– Quoin is matte burnt orange
– Lumino is a light cooler toned champagne
– Sienna is a complex duochrome bronze with very fine gold/green shimmers
– Soil is dark rich brown with red undertones
All five shades have fantastic color payoff. The two mattes are very soft but not powdery and really feel creamy and apply smoothly. The metallics are very shiny and pack a punch without looking too over the top. Best applied with fingers. Only the duochrome resulted in some fallout but the shade is insanely pretty.
What I love most about Mini Nude is that it’s pretty straightforward. You have a perfect crease shade, an amazing inner corner highlighter, a gorgeous matte smoke shade plus a flattering bronze which I use on the lid alternating with the punchy duochrome. Not that you can’t create many other looks with it or go all the way to a deep smokey eye.
Application is a breeze, they all last and wear pretty well too. Not expensive either. Overall if you like orangey bronzey eye looks this is your guy. And frankly I don’t really need any other shades on this color theme since Mini Nude has practically nailed it! Wouldn’t drop the cash for Denona’s larger palettes but this is a really great find. I’d love to see a mini matte rosy nude palette in this range in the future.
