   What a disappointment, with a potentially good idea turning into a weak mess on my skin. And at this stage, we are not talking about an interpretation of Beautiful but an even more diluted version of the Beautiful Belle that is on the verge of screechy. Beautiful Belle Love is almost like a loukhoum fragrance waiting to happen at first, a sheer impression of Turkish delight together with some fragrant floral water. I think it is notes like Turkish rose, almond, amber, and vanilla that create this impression and L’Artisan’s Traversee du Bosphore come to my mind for a moment. Unfortunately, Beautiful Belle Love smells like something that wants to do too many things at the same time, so I start getting some indescript but very clean, sheer florals together with world’s sheerest, most watery honey, together with an airy sage. And white tea. Seriously. I don’t know how such a modest, young spirited fragrance can be both so indescript at moments and so tremendously crowded and messy at others. Although I like certain phases of it, I don’t think it is well blended at all, and something always comes up and disturbs me – the moment I start experiencing its little peaceful joys. If they have done this to add ‘character’ to it, I don’t think it was necessary. Still, when it works better, this could be a crowd pleaser, something appropriate for all ages – starting from 12 I think. I think this vibe can be found and enjoyed in drugstore fragrances and that is not bad in itself. But when they charge a lot for this kind of stuff, I kind of lose interest. Weak sillage and little lasting power on my skin. It quickly turns into some indescript soapy, powdery scent.
