This is my go-to daytime moisturizer. It sets on the face quickly. It leaves my skin soft, not greasy and sits well underneath makeup. I just wish that it came with a stronger SPF (at least 30), but for the price, this is a great product.

I have been using this for a while. It works okay in the summer months when I don’t need as much moisture- my combination skin is a little more oily during that period of time. It also is one of the few products that I have tried with sunscreen that doesn’t irritate my skin or make me look like a ghost ( NC43-45 for reference).
But now that fall is here and my skin is drier, it is not doing a great a job. My face feels tight after using it. I am actually combining it with a sensitive skin, no fragrance moisturizer from Olay to make up for the lack of moisture. Once this bottle is gone, I will need to find something else to replace it. I would not buy this again.

i use this product along with Simple’s soothing facial toner and it has been life changing.
for one, it is non-sticky and gets absorbed up very quickly! it also hydrates my skin for the rest of the day. i do notice that my skin looks duller and feels more dry on days where i don’t put on the moisturizer before going out. i don’t really have much to complain as my skin is loving this and i would definitely replenish stocks at home when i run out of it again!

made my skin break out really bad..

I bought this as a temporary moisturizer and now it is my main one because I love it so much! I use this at the night time as it doesn’t have SPF in it. This product is not greasy, lightweight but moisturizing and makes my skin look balanced, even and healthy. The price is unreal for the amount of product you get and how amazing the moisturizer is! I would recommend to anyone with normal or combination skin but if your skin is on the drier side of things, there is a simple rich kind to skin moisturizer! I love this product so much! It is the best moisturizer I have tried on the market (even expensive ones) and this beats them all. It doesn’t break me out and moisturizer without making my normal – sensitive skin look oily at all! My best friend uses this and she loves it as well.

You get what you pay for with this product. It is a very average moisturiser, it gets the job done, but it does feel slightly oily on (and takes ages to absorb in,) and though it does not disagree with my sensitive skin, it doesn’t sit very well under makeup. But for the price, it is very decent.

First of i want to share some back story why i decided to try this moisturizer.
Because i have oily sensitive skin with some hormonal spots i decided to try the avene cleanance mat emulsion, the lady at the pharmacy told me it was a gift from God send for sensitive oily skin with mild acne/spots/pimples.
I used this product for 1,5 week and had to stop using it because everytime i apply the emulsion my face became red and started to burn like hell.
Now left with some extremely sensitised skin i was looking for a moisturizer without 10000 promises on the packaging and took the Simple light version back home.
Most of my colleagues (i work at a drugstore) swear by the light and rich version depending on their skintype.
After using it for about 7 weeks i can say that i love this product, it is what is says it is “hydrating light moisturizer” and nothing more.
It soothed my skin from te start and didnt feel greasy at all, after a day at work my forehead is a little “dewy” but the rest of my face looks amazing, no dry flakes, no oil slick, no tightness and best of all it didnt caused breakouts.
I recomend this product 100%
Ps: what works for my skin may not work for yours, every person and skin is different 🙂

My teen with sensitive skin uses this moisturizer every morning. It’s not oily and keeps her skin from becoming dry throughout the day without causing breakouts.

decent moisturizer. didn’t feel too heavy on my skin. I did get oiliness pretty quick but i naturally have oily skin so that is common for me….

My 12 year old needed an SPF-containing moisturizer that would not break her out and so far – for $13 – Simple is doing the trick.

Neutrogena reformulated my HG oil-free spf15 daily moisturizer so I had to scramble and find a replacement because I am allergic to the new formula. This moisturizer had so much potential!! I used it for about 5 days straight. Application was amazing! Feels refreshing and hydrating, quick absorption. However, I think this made me begin to breakout by the 5th day. I discovered tiny WHITE BREAKOUTS beginning to surface on my nose and forehead. I’m fairly certain this was clogging pores. I also noticed my skin feeling rougher and like there was a film on it. At the time I was also trying ST. Ives Oatmeal scrub, so I will have to investigate more as to what broke me out. UPDATES COMING SOON.

I got this it was on offer and Boots had run out of their (better and cheaper) Simply Sensitive day moisturiser.
This is nothing special. It doesn’t break me out but it doesn’t make my skin look good either. It makes my eyes sting and water when I put it on but anything with SPF does that. I like the scent though.

This product caused a breakout for me immediately. I would not recommend it. I also experienced some slight burning on application.

I used to use Simple when I was in high school and I really liked it. I ran out of my more high end moisturizer and decided I wanted to try a drugstore brand, so I purchased this. I have very sensitive, dry skin. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks and noticed that it wasn’t moisturizing my face and I had a painful, irritated rash on my cheeks. I’ve stopped using it for a few days now and the rash is slowly disappearing. Definitely not repurchasing.

Got it as said it was kind to skin as got very dry skin on arms – broke out in lumps under the skin. Thought that maybe it was something else so left it a couple of months and tried again – same affect, not got sensitive skin but it doesn’t like simple
gleefulSeahorse4
Broke me out really badly, heavily scented, did not sink into my very dry skin at all. It left a greasy film on top of my skin and gave me acne.

I had a sample of this cream. not for me. it stung going on and I looked like I had a sun burn from it.
I tired it twice just to be sure, and it did upset my skin. (its sensitive)

I have been using this moisturizer for a few weeks now and I have no complaints. I have oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin and this has not broke me out or made me more oily. I really appreciate how light this formula is, but I am not sure how well it would work for drier skin types. The packaging could be better- I feel that it will be hard to use the entire product once it starts running low. And it is a little pricier for drugstore, but it is good quality and i appreciate that I can find this at any local drugstore. For anyone that has a similar skin type to mine, I would definitely recommend giving this a try. I will be repurchasing this once I run out.

I have been using this product for about 5 weeks till I realised this product was causing spots. I found that it burnt my skin really bad but I thought my skin would get use to it but it didn’t it continued to get worse so I would not buy it again because it claimed to be for sensitive skin but it burnt me every single time for about 5 mins.

i’ve been using this product for a couple months now and my skin reacts to it just fine. I like that its not scented or overly complicated. It’s very gently but it doesn’t provide my skin the relief and satin-y feeling I crave from moisturizers. I also am disappointed that it’s only SPF 15… I feel like i need to constantly be reapplying it and it doesn’t help repair dry skin. Its a good product for regular gentle maintenance but it’s not life changing or anything. I probably wouldn’t buy again unless I felt like my skin routine got too complicated and was irritating my skin. It’s a good square one but, like i said, you won’t see dramatic improvement from this product.
