I love this stuff! At first I wasn’t sure about it – had purchased with a few other BB products at the recommendation of the sales person. As I used it though, I realized my skin looked MUCH better the days I used it. Yes it’s a bit glowy, but I just brush it across the bridge of my nose, my cheeks and forehead. I don’t think it’s intended to set foundation. It gives me a healthy glow and honestly I find myself reaching for it every day. My skin just looks better with it! Apparently it has hyaluronic acid which is part of the reason it helps create a healthy glow.

I’ve just returned this because it’s just glitter! Not a fan! it doesn’t set my foundation, doesn’t control oil, nothing! Just glitter! I’ve bought it because was very popular on IG, my mistake.

I bought this in Bare. The color match is perfect for my skintone (around NC20-25) but there is STRAIGHT UP GLITTER in this powder!!! I though it was over spray at first and that eventually it would go away. I’ve been using it for a few months, off and on, and the glitter is still highly visible. When I applied this to my face this morning, I was tempted to wash off all of my makeup because I could see large chunks of glitter flecks on my face. Didn’t have time to wash, but when I checked myself later in the day it wasn’t as noticeable. But still…in hindsight I don’t feel like this powder is worth $50.

I purchased this in porcelain and find this finishing powder to be quite good. It has 6 different shades that when mixed together make my skin look smooth and gives me a glow that’s not OTT. At first I thought since 2 of the shades have shimmer that it would be too much for me. But I realized or I think there must be a glaze because as I use it, it’s less and less visible shimmer. In fact it’s a small amount that for me just makes my skin look healthy not glittery. I’m an NW20 or below NARS Monte Blanc, green eyes, and blonde hair for reference and the shade porcelain suits me well.
It minimizes redness and could even be used as a powder with or without foundation. As it does have some decent coverage going on. One thing to watch out for is to remove the overlay and then it won’t be sparkly at all. I almost returned this because of the shimmer. But once I removed the top it’s more like a luminous glow. This is very expensive in my book but I do enjoy using this.
You get 6.6 grams and for $50 I think that there could be more product imo. I like to use this after my setting spray to minimize the shine from it. The packaging is beautiful and it comes with a good mirror. The shade I chose matches my skin perfectly and the powder itself is smooth but hard to pick up. I think this way I’ll save product but I have to use a very firm brush with it. I think this is either a love or dislike product as the reviews on Sephora were mixed so not everyone will like this. If you enjoy a finishing powder with some decent coverage and a nice glow this is a great powder to try.
Update: it’s still very shimmery in my opinion and the shimmer is noticeable.im thinking that I’ll be using this more for area that need brightening. I just find this too shimmery for a finishing powder because it’s so obvious not subtle at all and I wear shimmer. I love my Givenchy Prism Libre in Volle rose, ambient lighting powder, and my Meteroites. Both contain a shimmer or an illumination. This powder just illuminates too much for me to be an all over finishing powder.
I will use this on my cheekbones and other places that I highlight but not all over. This is why I had to take a lippie away. I will still use this I just think ill buy something else from BB like her wheat eyeshadow for contouring.
