Black Core is a matte, long lasting black eyeliner that needs a sharpener. It’s very pigmented and buttery, so it doesn’t drag on your eyelids. It reminds me a lot of Urban Decay’s Perversion, although it is a lot more long lasting and smudge proof than Perversion. If you are looking to create a smoky eye, you can smudge this, but once it sets, it’s there to stay. I bought this to use in my waterline, as I rarely wear black eyeliner these days. It lasts okay in the waterline, and most likely, if you don’t suffer from sensitive, watery eyes like I do, you’d really enjoy this liner. For me, I am a much bigger fan of Tom Ford Emotion Proof liners because those stay in my waterline, even on days when allergies and the cold weather are murder on my eyes.
