Most retinol products on the market are better than this. It’s also very cheap compared to other retinol products, so in this case, you get what you pay for. I use Retin-A, but I’m also always on the lookout for that little added extra help. That added something that just makes everything work better. I turned 40 last summer, and something snapped. I went crazy over anything anti-aging, and I would like to continue to look late 20’s, and early 30’s forever, so I’m waging war against the Crypt Keeper. Although I have been using Retin-A for almost 30 years (it was originally for acne at 12, but I’ve never not gone without it for more than a week, or two), I’m still looking for that dream product, and this isn’t it. Roc Multi-Correxion, and Retinol ResQ work 10 times better than this. This is garbage. Rather than throwing it away, I used it on my chest, because that’s the place that shows my true age. No results what-so-ever. It didn’t sting my face, and it didn’t sting my chest, either. It didn’t make the skin on my face, or chest smoother, and it didn’t give either, any glow. Nothing. This is supposed to be a serum, but it was more like a milky light lotion. It does absorb in the skin quickly, but that doesn’t mean it works. This is a total waste of money. Any other retinol product has to be better than this, and I’ve tried most of them. I won’t repurchase, and I don’t recommend, either.

I have been using this product for about 6 weeks now. The results: It has done absolutely nothing for the fine lines on my forehead. It is easy to apply, and is very smooth. It penetrates the skin very quickly. Unfortunately, it did not do the job that it was made to do. Another big waste of money! I will not repurchase.

I bought this for 30% at my local drugstore – which put it around ten dollars. It is supposed to firm skin, smooth wrinkles and brighten and has pro-retinol. I have very few fine lines and my skin has lately lost a bit of luster due to the cold weather. It is almost like a serum and goes on very easy. Not greasy at all to me. I use it primarily at night and sometimes during the day before my moisturizer if I plan to not wear alot of makeup. Within less than a week my face did look smoother and brighter. It feels pretty firm and spongey as well. It also seemed to hydrate my skin more, and make my night cream absorb better. This didn’t cause any irritation or breakouts at all. I tried it under make up and that didn’t go over so well – even with primer my make up melted.
I am just not ‘wowed’ by this product, but maybe my skin isn’t as bad off as I think (I am 34 but don’t look it as I try to care for my skin). However I do like that it smoothes away any flakies and leaves a nice glow. I would repurchase but I think there are probably better Retinol treatments out there. Not bad overall though, and the price is pretty good.
