Recently I had a hard time finding this, could only get the Vitamin E. Today I found it in Target, and bought the three remaining bottles on the shelf. Both my son and I use this (he has eczema and is very picky about lotions), so I stockpiled. It’s no accident that the shelf was full of the other St Ives varieties (which are all good BTW) and down to the last three on this one – it is THE BEST-great value & quality.

Pros:
i) fairly good mix of proven skin healing and repairing ingredients and antioxidants.
ii) feels light yet moisturizing.
iii) cheap and it comes in humongous size.
iv) ‘Fragrance’ is listed last in the ingredients list of this lotion. For me the fragrance is barely there. It is gone after a few seconds.
Cons:
well there’s no cons to be reported.
This is definitely a HG body lotion. I hope St. Ives doesn’t go crazy and reformulate this lotion.

This has been reformulated twice since my last review.
1st reformulation: they used katon CG as one of the preservatives. katon CG is not suitable for leave-on products because it can cause skin irritation/sensitivity – (google it!). preservative is important but why use the shi**ty ones?
the 2nd reformulation: which i saw recently – they have replaced mineral oil with soybean oil. maybe keeping up with st ives’ natural theme? perhaps mineral oil is so “nasty” and “chemically” but soybean oil has no chemical composition and more “natural”. really? btw, st. ives is owned by unilever. unilever also owns vaseline. i meannnnnn. they have also make it more fragrance-y by pushing it up there in the ingredients list, along with thickeners/thickening agents.
the real superstar ingredients (sunflower seed oil, grape seed oil, cranberry seed oil and olive leaf extract) has been pushed down the ingredients list. 4 last ingredients after the preservative (BHT) to be precised.
I see you unilever. you are saving cost to make more money. okaayy.

This smells BAD. Like Muskoll. Otherwise a very good product.
