I wanted to try a serum and, not being sure if I’d follow with it in a routine, I got this one: fair price and, while it had mixed reviews, it seemed to be worth a try. That was about 3 months ago.
I have persistent redness in my skin, it claimed to reduce it (it didn’t). My pores stayed the same.
I do like how it feels, it’s very easy to apply and to spread. It leaves a nice feeling, if a bit filmy. It probably could do a good job as a primer (I haven’t been using foundation lately).
I was thinking of researching for a better one when, yesterday, I woke up and my skin was a lot less red than usual. I applied the serum and it went back to it’s usual red. I hadn’t seen it happen as clearly before so that’d be the last time I’ll use it.
It’s fourth ingredient is alcohol denat. If you have sensitive skin, I’d avoid it.

This serum is crap and I know it by its main ingredients. Alcohol denat, water and perfume. L’oreal, you’re disgusting, selling 1$ cologne/aftershave (not even good for that, alcohol is very irritating and drying) for this price and advertising it as MOISTURIZING? If alcohol was indeed good for the skin (it isn’t, it doesn’t even desinfect it unless it’s isopropyl alcohol), then you could just use tap water, pharmacy/drugstore sanitary alcohol and a drop of perfume from your stash and make this crappy “serum”. Serums should be light, velvety, FULL of antioxidants (this has none…nothing good in it…well, except water, haha).

So first off there are a lot of contrasting reviews..
I have normal skin and am not prone to acne breakouts (lucky me right!).
I have never had a problem with acne apart from a few here and there due to hormones
or getting oil from my hair on my face (if you touch your hair a lot and then your face, you will probably get a few breakouts).
At first I LOVED this product. The scent put me off a bit but I got used to it.
It makes my skin feel instantly hydrated and soft.
I have been using it for about a month maybe a bit over
but not long after I started noticing I was getting a few breakouts here and there..
nothing too out of the ordinary until it started breaking out on my forehead and then nose area then around my chin area. I was using the pore cream as well as this one (loved that to.. at first)
I have changed no other products in my day to day routine so I suspect these products are making me breakout.. which sucks because I really liked them both!
I feel like theres some ingredient in them that makes my skin breakout which is just bad luck for me but for others its fine.
So I recommend trying it out for yourself because these are good products but the downside is some people may react to it. I have tried other pore creams such as the Liole pore cream and that never made me breakout so I think I’m going to have to stop using these products.
