I received this in “Werk” as part of Sephora’s birthday gift. Hopefully this review helps others when deciding which birthday set to choose. The main reason why this is a miss for me is the smell….like a terrible burning plastic smell that is particularly strong upon application and for a few minutes after. Like, I want to wipe it off my lips, it’s so bad! Definitely skip if you’re sensitive to smells (as I am).
The chubby stick makes it rather awkward to apply to lips so I definitely need a mirror for application. Haven’t tried it as a blush and honestly probably won’t but I do think this color is likely pretty wearable as a lippie or blush on a wide range of people but honestly I find it very meh as nude lipsticks go. I’d describe it as a dusty pinky shade with a bit of coral fairly balanced between warm and cool. This is also how I’d describe my HG nude lipstick (Nars Audacious in Apolene) but the Milk color and formula both fall well short of competing. The smell alone has me ready to chuck it in the bin after 2 uses. Glad this one was a freebie.

I have this in werk and really love it! It gives me a natural flush that lasts all day. It also looks lovely on the lips. A really quick multi tasking product.

I really appreciate the ease of application of this product- I always keep this in my travel bag for when I can’t be fussed to apply the Glossier cloud paints. For reference, I have dry/dehydrated skin with texture and flakiness on my forehead and large pores on my nose/cheeks.
I have this product in Werk in the mini size. I have a highlighter and bronzer in the normal size though and I will say I love the packaging. It’s a bit bulky, but I know it’s not gonna get broken or leak anywhere in my bag. The stick format is SUPER easy and quick to apply, and I only have to do a few swipes on each cheek for good color payoff. It blends effortlessly and the shade I have is sheer but buildable if you want more intensity. I have noticed that different colors have different looks to them- Werk is a more “cream” formula with a satin finish, while Quickie is more sheer and shiny. If you’re able to swatch them in person I would recommend that, just so you know exactly what you’re getting. The staying power is also pretty impressive. I am moving all day at work and touch my face a lot, but I can still see it when I go to lunch and usually still when I finish my shift.
The main reason this doesn’t get 5 starts from me is that I have seen this push around the foundation/concealer I have beneath it. The Cloud Paints glide over foundation really easily without disrupting it, so while they are more of a hassle to apply it’s nice knowing they won’t affect the base you just laid down. This makes me choose the Milk stick when it’s a lower-coverage day when I might just spot conceal- which is kind of what this product seems to be designed for anyways.
Overall I would recommend this product if you want a no-hassle blush that you can apply with almost no effort. Just see if you can test the colors in person before purchasing so you know the exact color and finish you are getting.

It is a good cream blush (I have a mini version in Perk which is a delicate, peachy pink giving the most natural flush on my warm toned, olive complexion) but not the most durable one I tried. It spreads very well, almost too well as it can easily disappear to nothing. I don’t like reapplying makeup during the day and sadly with this otherwise lovely product (the packaging is genius and a mini size is super handy for travel) this is a necessity as after 2-3 hours there is nothing of it left on my cheeks. I’ll re-purchase Smile from RMS but not this one. Maybe other colours behave differently (with different pigments) but Perk does not last on me hence just 3 stars.
Also, I would prefer if the product was unscented, this one has a very fait smell of something not unpleasant but still, fragrance in products that are going to stay on my face, is not good.

I ordered this in Werk It. I was worried it might be a tad too brown when I read it was described as a dusty rose. It is not at all, in fact on my skin it looks brighter than I expected. It is by far the best cream blush I have ever worn. A little go a long way and it takes a little more work to blend it but it lasts instead of disappearing after a couple hours which cream blushes have done on me in the past. I like the stick formula instead of a pot. It is citrus scented. Personally, I prefer all face products unscented. I like that the cap screws on, that way it won’t fall off. I do want to say that I will only use it on cheeks. On my lips it highlights flakes, doesn’t really adhere and just looks kind of chalky and weird.

This is my first product from the brand Milk Makeup.
Price here in the UK is £25 which I would consider expensive for a blush / lipstick.
The packaging is a thick tube which you roll up. Very simple packaging which is pleasing to look at.
The product is cream which I personally prefer because it gives a natural within colour. I have the shade “ Werk” which is a rosey , mauve colour. Perfect for all skin tones and even on the lips for a natural look. Also the product smells AMAZING. You get so much product and it will last me months.
Overall I am excited to try more colours and more things from this brand. 100% would purchase again.

The milk cheek and lip is in a big fat roll on , Love it , it’s a cream blush that also looks great on lips, multi tasking and I love all the colors, I have them all , but if you love Boom stick color by Cindy Joseph you will love Quickie better, it’s just a little less purple and stays on lips longer. I think this brand is the best , the makeup reminds me of the beautiful makeup from the 70,s when the natural look was first invented , similar packaging too.

I love creme blushes and lip and cheek duos even more. This comes in 5 different shades and the one I got was in Burgundy. It was the most beautiful, sophisticated reddish burgundy I have ever tried. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get that exact color to read on my skin, as this product was sheer. It was very beautiful, nevertheless, and it wore really well on both cheeks and lips. On my cheeks it read as a light raspberry, and it was a lot sheerer on my lips. In cold weather this was great for a no makeup makeup look, as if you had just come in from a cold winter day walk. It wasn’t very long lasting, like most creme blushes, but it was pretty compact, like a lipstick bullet, just bigger, so it was easy to carry in my purse for touch ups. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled with was the fragrance: it wasn’t strong, but I would rather it wasn’t there. It was pretty reasonably priced, but still expensive for a drugstore product. I would repurchase again.
