Looking for product to add texture and some hold to my short straight hair. On my hair type, this product acts like a basic hairspray. No noticeable texturizing. Definitely no waves (but with my hair that’s not a surprise). Light hold. Sprayed on dry or damp hair, it provides a slightly wet piece-y look but it shakes out later without much effort. The scent is nice and not overpowering; my hubby noticed it though, so perhaps it’s not as fleeting as I thought.

This is the only product I have ever used that has made my hot wavy. My hair is not crunchy, feels very soft and looks amazing! I am also posting a photo/ I have on a black tank with leopard pants.
I used this on towel dried hair and then scrunched and scrunched with my hands. AMAZING!
My hair is very flat and straight. Pretty thin as well.
Give it a try! Mine was a sample, but I’m sure I will purchase the full size.
I have tried salt sprays and nothing has ever worked!

Do not overspray! Less is more. If you overspray, your hair will be very sticky.
It does give a bit more body to ur hair. Ur hair will be able to hold curl longer.
Packaging is very chic, sleek, and nice.
Perfume smells nice but too strong for my taste. I would have liked it better if it didn’t have such a strong scent.
It does work but will not repurchase because it’s a product I can live without. I’d rather look for texturizing sprays. I’m looking forward to the day I finish it.

I love salt sprays and couldn’t resist trying this after hearing all the raves about this brand – big mistake, thank goodness I only got the travel size. After Bumble and Bumble, Verb, Lush, Fudge, Umberto Giannini, this is definitely the worst I’ve tried.
First off, the SMELL. It is absolutely awful, strong and just doesn’t go away. If only my perfumes (y’know, the smells I actually like) could have the same staying power, that would be amazing. It’s a pungent old-fashioned floral smell that isn’t pretty, feminine or refreshing in anyway. I did find that spraying it into my hair while it’s damp and letting it dry lets the smell fade out. If I sprayed it onto dry hair, I’d be a walking room fragrance diffuser.
Second, I find it does absolutely nothing for a salt spray. It isn’t drying, but it’s not salty enough to hold any kind of volume or styling either. I couldn’t figure out how to get this to work: air-dried, blowdried, damp, dry, sprayed directly onto hair, sprayed onto my hand and spread onto hair – nothing works.
Perhaps this is a salt spray that’s meant for drier or finer hair textures than mine. I’ve got relatively healthy, thick, straight hair that’s more prone to oily scalps and frizziness due to humidity, so if you’ve got hair like mine, please stay away from this product. And be sure to smell it in store first before you buy! Some people might like the smell, but it is STRONG so it could make or break your decision to like this product.

Doubt I would re-purchase…I’m not particularly fond of the fragrance and to be honest, I’ve used other less expensive products that do a better job! All hype I’m afraid!

This spray is the taters. A very reputable listicle told me that Harry Styles uses this on his hair and after testing it out I’m inclined to think he actually might. It’s boy band hair in a spritz bottle. It even works on dry hair and you basically just have to mist it around your head and muss your hair a little with your hands. It keeps your hair softly in place, rather than crunchily glued together. Its one drawback, for me, is that it smells quite perfume-y, but that dissipates pretty quickly.

Mixed feelings… On one hand, I feel like this really does give my long hair a nice wavy style. It’s also not drying at all, unless most similar products (like Bumble & Bumble) that contain sea salt and make my hair feel crunchy. My ends are rather dry, but my scalp and roots gets oily pretty fast. And since this is a spray, you can’t really only aim for one part of your hair… It’s made my hair look dirty even when it really wasn’t. And I certainly wouldn’t use if I haven’t washed my hair for two days. So I spray just a little bit on squeaky clean hair while covering my roots. There’s no other way to make this work. Also, the smell is nice but VERY strong, almost like you’re using perfume. I don’t mind because I don’t wear perfume but for people who do, I guess you would’nt want this to clash with your usual fragrance.

I’m very pleased with the way this spray performs. I used it on dry hair and kind of “arranged” my hair, then sprayed another round to lock it all in. It has a pleasant beach-y scent. Comes in a smaller travel size that’s handy; would definitely repurchase.

I’m not surprised to see that this product is getting mixed reviews. It’s a very interesting product to say the least and I can see why a lot of people might not like it. I’m really enjoying this wave spray though. Here are my thoughts:
Pros
– This smells wonderful. I’m terrible at describing scents so I won’t go into detail but this has a very floral, perfume-y smell to it. I love it, but it will be overwhelming for a lot of people. The scent lingers for a while, so it’s something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to fragrance.
– I love the packaging. It’s chic and looks great on my vanity. And the nozzle on the bottle is amazing. It delivers a very fine and even mist.
– This does a great job of defining my waves. I’m not sure if this will do much for straight hair, but if you have some texture this will probably bring it out.
– I love the grit and texture that this adds to my hair. I never like to wear my hair too styled and I’m always tossing it from side to side. This keeps my hair looking volumized and carefree.
Cons
– Although this gives my hair great texture, it also leaves my hair feeling a bit dirty. I almost always have to wash my hair the next day after using this.
– This can be a bit drying. I wouldn’t use this without using a good leave-in conditioner or oil.
– This can make my hair very greasy and tangled if I over spray. I probably do 3 or 4 sprays for my entire head and that’s it. I wouldn’t recommend spraying an area more than once.
– It’s quite pricey. I got the small bottle (1.7 oz) for $12 and I’ve gone through it pretty quickly.
Personally, I like this product. It’s different from most sea salt sprays I’ve tried. Although it can make my hair feel dirty pretty quickly, it’s worth it for the volume and texture. I probably won’t use this every single day since it can be a bit drying, but I love this for days when I want my waves to look extra wild. If you want to give this a try, I recommend the small bottle. I found mine near the checkout at the Sephora.

I can’t believe this got such bad reviews, I liked it! It smells REALLY nice and worked as well my usual sea salt spray (Not Your Mother’s). Obviously it’s a LOT more spendy than that drugstore brand.
