I bought the life brand lychee soothing face mask. As soon as I put it on, it started burning like crazy. Felt like a high percentage chemical peel. I immediately took it off, and my face was red and felt very tender. I am confused as to why it was advertised as a “soothing” mask; clearly not the case. My skin felt dry and tight afterwards, even after I applied hyaluronic acid serum and moisturizer. It was pretty cheap, around $2 CAD, but I put 3 stars for price because of how shitty the product is. Just don’t sell it at all. Or at least do some testing before placing it on the market. The packaging is real ugly. Overall, a really bad product that can damage skin. I’m an esthetician, and I decided to try the life brand for review purposes.

The “brightening” sheet mask that I recently bought for 4$ is absolute garbage! One of the worst sheet masks I have ever tried. Upon a minute of applying it on my face it started to irritate and burn which rarely happens to my skin as I have normal- combination skin type. This is the first time that my face has felt something this irritating since I can tolerate mostly anything on my face such as benzoyl peroxide and other acids. I thought the burning sensation was just a part of the sheet mask so I let it sit for 5 more minutes yet it still burned so I immediately took it off. Hopefully I won’t break out tomorrow.

The CLAY masks are really good! my favorite affordable face masks, really soothing for relaxation and when i want to self care. When i break out i use the detoxifying one- the charcoal & ivy exxtrract & also the brightening mask when my face feels dry.

DO NOT BUY THIS! I used the Life Brand “brightening” sheet mask and oh my god, this stuff BURNS! As soon as I put it on, my upper lip area was burning so much that I cut that piece of the mask off. I left the rest of the mask on for 9-10 minutes–it was mildly uncomfortable–and once I took it off, my whole face was burning. I thought I was just being dramatic, so I looked up reviews and realized that the majority of people had the same experience. My skin is somewhat sensitive, but I very rarely ever have reactions to products. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this product, especially if you have sensitive skin. It is extremely irritating and not worth any money. I had to wash my face TWICE afterwards just so the burning would go away. Do not buy!!

I bought this mask because it was on sale for a $1.49. My face was on fire after applying it. Anyone know why??? I’ll stick to my Mary Kay Charcoal Mask from now on.

THESE FACE MASKS SUCK
My friend and I tried the pomegranate face mask and it was terrible. It stung my friend’s face and was uncomfortable on mine. Like fools we kept it on, since neither of us knew this was going to end in disaster. Once it was done we washed it off and everything was fine until about an hour later when both of us had a serious reaction. ANYWHERE THAT EVEN TOUCHED THE FACE MASK BECAME SWOLEN, INCLUDKNG OUR EARS, FACES AND IN MY CASE MY HAND, AND BY THE END OF THE NIGHT BOTH OUR BACKS WERE SWOLEN AS WELL. IT SUCKED. I was so fucking uncomfortable, and it itches worse then mosquito bites. If I could give this product a 0 I fucking would. It was awful

me and my boyfriend have used several different kinds of these masks together, and each time, we’ve both gotten burning sensations. that said, we both persisted and wore the masks as directed, not hugely bad results, skin was soft after, and relieved after all the burning. i however forgot about this and picked a sheet mask up for myself as a treat today and this one made my lip go numb! my whole face was burning too. maybe best to stick to diy masks after all. there seem to be some heavy duty chemicals in here.

I bought three of them the first one I used smelled exactly like men shaving cream wich was already weird. The minute It touched my face it started burning like crazy. I rinced it off immediatly and my face was red underneath. I tried using another one that was supposes to be hydrating and it smelled similar to toothpaste. Thre the last one in the trash and will never buy these again. Dont know what the heck they put in there but its not mean to go on the face.

I bought 3 different sheet masks and tried the life brand pore cleansing facial sheet mask. My face started burning immediately after I put it on, didn’t even have a chance to smooth it out. My face was red everywhere the mask touched my skin and my upper lip went numb.????
It does have fragrance in it which might be the cause but even if the price is good, it was a complete waste of money as i was not able to wear it at all and will throw the other 2 out for fear of trying them.

When i first put it on, it kinda burns a little bit. However, after i washed it off, my skin was as smooth as a baby’s. I wouldnt recommend this to someone with sensitive skin tho but i personally would use this for myself! I love it!
