I loved the product contents & sad to say its discontinued nationwide where I lived. Now I replaced it with painterly paint pot & recently managed to get soft ochre via a friend…still prefer bare canvas for more opaque color payoff which helps make eye color more vibrant. However had problems with the packaging big time. When it’s new, a lot of product tends to be squeezed out with just a light squeeze, i’ve to plot the tiny mess into a small container in order not to waste it. When it’s about to finish the paintwork on the packaging starts to come off n sticks to your fingers when u squeeze it so I’ve to put a small plastic over the tube.

This little gem has been a staple in my makeup arsenal for quite a while now and I don’t know what I’d do without it!! I’ve heard folks say “it’s a paint pot in a tube” but I think it’s much more blendable, applies easier, and is WAY less drying than the paint pot formulas (although I do adore them as well). I love using it as my eyeshadow primer…it makes my shadow last forever, have amazing color, and they don’t crease at all during the day. It’s such a beautiful color, I usually let a bit peek out on its own as well! (It is somewhat shimmery, so just keep that in mind in case you’re not into shimmer). Lemme tell you, it will last till ya wash it off! It’s also great for light makeup days because it brightens and covers just enough to take the “dull and dark” out of my lids. I have always applied this product very light handed and sheer whether I’m using it for primer or shadow…I’ve found that applying it too thick had a bit of a drying effect on my lids, but I’ve heard that some people remedy that by applying it on a damp lid or with a damp brush? I haven’t braved that territory just yet, but this stuff is definitely worth the money and I imagine it would flatter just about any skin tone, even if just as a highlighter. Happy MAC painting!

Expensive but the best! Tube and screw cap perhaps a little awkward for some but doesn’t bother me. Tube lasts a long time. I use bare canvas to prime my eyelids before eyeshadow application. Covers my blue and red veins completely and evens out the skin tone on my lids – making them look naturally flawless! Does’t crease or settle into lines and it prolongs eyeshadow wear 🙂 Highly recommend and will buy for life!!
