I tried a generous sample, and I totally skipped the conditioner with this one as it left my dry, chemically treated hair really soft and smooth, so I was quite impressed.

Let it be said that the scent of the this shampoo is OVERWHELMING!! This cannot be stressed enough…needless to say, I don’t use it when I am having sinus headaches!!! This shampoo initially left my hair smoother than beyond smooth! Add the conditioner, my hair was shinier than gold….but after using this shampoo a few days straight, I noticed that it became dry. So, what is a good girl to do?
I rotate this combo in between my OJON products and my hair has never been this healthier!
The packaging! I wish the huge containers for both products were clear so I can see how much of the product I had left. The cost! $17 isn’t bad since I am used to spending that on salon products anyway!

I have fine, dry hair with an oily scalp. So, I need to find a shampoo that will cleanse my scalp but not dry out my hair. This is a light shampoo with an odd chemically grapefruit/herbal scent. It truly does not dry out my hair and rinses clean. I was surprised to discover that it contains harsh detergents and paraben preservatives as I thought DHC was supposed to be more natural based. $17.50 for 18 oz container of shampoo with drugstore ingredients isn’t going to cut it for me.
