I was hopeful when this concealer launched because the light texture and finish of the face oil can make it difficult to pair with a concealer without the concealer looking super obvious. This formula is supposed to be designed to pair with the corresponding tinted face oils so I assumed it was a more pigmented and luminous version of the foundation shades. Unfortunately that is not the case. I have the Tinted Face Oil in tones 6 and 5.5 so I bought the 5.5 concealer. The coverage and finish are great for me unfortunately the 5.5 concealer does not seem to have the same olive undertone as the face oils. It has way too much yellow and after reading other reviews on Sephora they are all pretty yellow based. I can use it under my eyes for brightening and covering dark circles but I can’t use it to spot conceal elsewhere because the undertone of this concealer just doesn’t match the foundation so it literally highlights and draws attention to the areas I’m trying to conceal. This comes in a tube with a flat tipped doe foot applicator and the texture is very thin but it covers well and does not settle into fine lines or crease. These are one of the few products that I don’t have to set with powder both the face oil and concealer seem to meld into the skin and I have no issues using this after eye cream which is great. If they had just kept the colors true to the foundation undertones this would have been HG for me. I’ll finish the tube for under my eyes but won’t repurchase. So frustrating!
